Owners from Hanover. As they say, "them can burn" this authentic flavourful culinary taste festival is a definite 5 stars. I found it on Google because my usual go to place in San Jose is closed on Sundays. Lucky me! Typically for the same price point the plate is filled with rice and peas with a few pieces of oxtails. Instead, at Reggae Pot, a little casserole pot brim filled with succulent medium cut oxtails. Incredibly good. Im back in the yard Swooning! So blessed!

Great food, clean spot and great service. Times I have been there, have been on Sunday evenings and it is usually busy, but the one server available is friendly and respectful despite being pulled in a million directions The San Jose spot is decent too, but this spot is the best out of the 3 locations: San Jose and the other one in Menlo Park. Continue to support good food and respectful service.

this place is absolutely heavenly family run by real Jamaicans who have a passion for real organic food friendly happy beautiful service and the food is the best Jamaican food Ive ever had I was unbelievably impressed by the whole experience I highly recommended to anybody who is health conscious and wants a great organic meal

Simply delicious! Friendly staff and surprisingly the food came out fast. The plantains just melted in our mouths and the dipping sauces are so flavorful even though its not needed. Wife and I shared a dish, felt full and didnt feel weighed down after stuffing ourselves. Definitely going to be a regular there.

Wow, the food was shockingly amazing. First time trying Jamaican food and I really did fall in love with it .... The Jerk Chicken with Oxtail is my favorite dish! Dont expect a quick bite as the food does take time to make its way to you. So be sure to order a Ginger Beer ....

I am not from the Bay Area but came across Reggae Pot while in town. I lived in Jamaica for a couple years and felt the food here was very authentic. Great service and very tasty. The spices were excellent. I look forward to coming back again when I am back in town.

Tip: Humble and casual spot that takes over the spot of a former Chinese fast food restaurant. Legit Jamaican flavors and dishes like stewed oxtail, curried goat, and, of course, jerk chicken, that competes with the best of Jamaican places, including the Back-A-Yard!

Great food! Pleasant staff! This food is good for your soul. This is legit, just like the food I had in out-of-the-way places in Jamaica. So spicy and delicious! You know they are doing it right! Oxtail and jerk chicken platter... no regrets. Excellent!

Food is great, portions really small, a bit costly. But awesome food. We took ital vital combo and for 20 bucks, it should feed at least 2. We ended up ordering one more. Jerk tofu was just okay. Rice had amazing flavors of spices. Will go again.

Ox tail is sooooooo darn good. Jerk chicken spicy and very good! Salmon good, but I prefer it rare and it was cooked through. Next time I will ask for rare salmon. Nice folks. Cute, casual, clean place. I will come back for sure!

Jamaican food in Los Gatos, what a treat! Goat curry and jerk salmon are delicious. Go hungry and get the full plate, rice, beans, veggies and plantains will accompany your main dish. Be patient, good food and good people.
