Great old-fashioned hamburger and hot dog joint. Everything tastes fresh and is of good quality. The fried stuff is well made, tastes clean and isnt dripping with grease. They really do it right here. The dining room is small, but a few additional tables outside round it out. The inside was modest, but clean. Wasnt too crowded on a Sunday right at noon.

Our "go to" hamburger joint. You cant miss with a Happy Cheddar Burger; fresh grilled beef with a mound of grated cheddar cheese on a toasted bun with sliced sweet onion, lettuce and a delicious hamburger sauce. Add a regular order if hot fries (feeds two), your favorite drink and you are set. Make sure to get extra napkins.

A staple in Los Gatos that hasnt changed it great menu for years. Why mess with success? Always busy but not difficult to get served or find a table in a reasonably short period of time. The hot dogs are off tbe hook, but the happy burger is quite delicious as well. A gem in Los Gatos.

Ive been going to the hound for the better part of 40 yrs. And in all that time Im happy to say nothing has changed everything is as fantastic today as it was when I first started going there in the early 70 s. Great job in keeping customers happy and well fed for all these years.

OK, the burgers were great.The fries were great.But holy cow, the shakes were AMAZING.I had a nutshell and banana shake and let me tell you, thats the closest thing to heaven on earth Ive ever experienced.Owner is super nice and down to earth, too.Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my visit to Happy Hound. Its a small place, with a small menu. This was my first time, so I started with a cheeseburger. It was good. 1/3 Patty with all the trimmings. You can have additions for a small price, but the portions are generous.

Had high expectations based on the history of this place and the reviews but the burger was average at best. Maybe it was just not a great day for them but nothing was noticeable or worth coming again.

Im a big health nut. And I figured for my bday fat day I would grab a burger for old time sake. Wanted to try a new place. And wow. Very impressed. Will be back there for sure on my next fat day.
