I think everyone and their mother has heard about how great Zankous chicken is, but really reviews do no justice. If youve never been here then you MUST try this place. I walked in to place a to-go order and when I got to the counter I just stared at the menu for a few minutes because everything looked so damn delicious. The girl behind the counter was sweet and greeted me and told me to take the time. The manager Afif was standing by the pick-up counter helping run orders and asked if he could make a suggestion. SO GLAD he did because, although its not on the menu, you can get half shwarma and half tarna which totally makes my life easier. I took him up on his advice and also ordered the half chicken, tabouleh, and rice. The tabouleh was great, not too garlicky like some places. The chicken piece was moist, and the skin crispy, and I love that they include a couple hot chili peppers in the order. The shwarma and tarna were my favorite though, just exploding with flavor, I could eat it all day until the end of days. Im not sure about the other reviews, but the customer service I received was unmatched. Afif continued to make sure I received the best service the whole time I was there, and he greeted everyone that walked in. He was even nice enough to open the door for me since my hands were full. This place has definitely earned my continued patronage and I cant wait to come back! BTW the only thing I would have changed is I probably shouldve gone with the family meal instead since I ended up getting 2 sides anyway. Until next time!

I visit this place a lot, they really do have good food, but unfortunately I got disappointed this time. Rice cannot be switched to any tabbolueh or sallad anymore. Youll have to pay an extra 4 dollars to get it as a "side" . $12.29 for number 14 chicken kabob + extra 4 dollars, youll end up more than 17 dollars with tax. You might think Im being cheap, well, keep in mind, this is fast food! Another thing is that they sometimes give you the garlic sauce and sometimes they dont. Please, do not destroy zankou.

Ive been going to the Sepuveda/Santa Monica location for about 15 yes now. Food is still tasty, but the portions were a joke! I ordered the tri tip plate as usual. Ive never eaten @ ZC, without being satisfied, plus a little left over! First time for everything, I guess. Bread was over cooked to the point if it being crispy like a cracker and NO GARLIC SPREAD!?!? Even the veggies were skimpy! I hope it was just an off day because I LOVE this place. #SUPERDISSAPOINTED

Take out middle eastern chicken kings of LA. Very quick service, quick order turn around, and great food. Chicken is moist, tender, and has legit flavor. Sides are great, especially the garlic sauce. That stuff is magic. Tabouleh aint bad either. Parking at this location is never good, but a block south on Sepulveda usually has a space. They also have pickup if you call ahead, and that spot turns over pretty quickly.

Zankou Chicken is a solid little restaurant when you need your Mediterranean fix. Garlic fans for sure will be so happy with the garlic sauce here. Prices range from $7-$11 with pretty good-sized plates. Most plates come with two to three sides like hummus and a healthy amount of pita bread. Parking is limited in a small lot and they do accommodate for pick up.

Well, you may stink for a few days of garlic and spices, but I say bring on the dragon breath! Such a delicious tri-tip Shawerma! In fact, everything on this menu is really fresh and delicious! Grab your loved one by the arm and enjoy a good meal - that way there wont be any room for complaints post-meal :)

First time visit. Parking can be a challenge, luckily a car was leaving as I was going in. Chicken is nice and tender. Sides are a very good size. The garlic sauce is a must with the chicken as it adds a very distinctive taste. Overall great tasting chicken just wish they had more parking

Unfortunately the cashier didnt speak English or didnt catch up when asked what goes inside the pita.They only allow to stuff tomatoes slices on the chicken shawarma? Really? Mediterranean wannabe fast food! For whom get satisfied from poor food options this is the best place.

I love this place so much, but the service is always so terrible. I havent been to other locations, so Im not sure if its just this location or all of them, but dang. If their food wasnt good I wouldnt return. Too bad their food is so dang good and the portions are huge.

Great place for a Mediterranean meal. The family meal of a roast chicken is a great deal to split among a few people and the hummus and garlic sauce are bomb. Theres a small parking lot to the side but can get crowded during main eating hours. Highly recommend.

We come here a lot because its good food for a decent price. I agree with some of the other reviews that its not a place to come if you expecting to be waited on hand and foot. You go to the counter, order and move on. Thats pretty much it.

The chicken is awesome, the garlic sauce is amazing. Stay away from the beef shawerma if you dont like fat. The tri tip beef sandwich will come with a lot of fat. The falafel is way too dry.

Love these places. We go every time we go to So Cal. So wish they would move north. The garlic butter paste they provide with the chicken is A-MA-ZING!!!!! Highly recommend

Still the best place to pick up chicken for a quick and healthy meal. Skip Ralphs and get the rotisserie chicken here along with fresh hummous and their fantastic garlic puree.

Decent place for fast food. Expect to drop from $6-12 for a decent meal here. I usually get a Shawerma wrap from here, but when I feel like eating a lot, Ill get a plate.

Bomb food. Huge space and lots of room even though it gets busy. The parking lot has an attendant so your vehicle is relatively secure. Pretty quick service.

Everything is good here, parking is annoying but you can fit 4 cars in front of the valet parking. All zankou chicken locations are equally good IMHO.

As a First timer i absolutely loved this place. Has free valet parking and the tri tip steak was off the hook. Definently will come here again!
