Im sooooo disappointed at this place. Especially since Wolfgang Puck (the WP in the restaurants name). Ive been here twice - both times for a friends company holiday party. Its located on the 24th floor (hence 24 in the namesake), While its a gorgeous with a panoramic view of downtown LA, especially at night. The design of the restaurant is awkward - winding walk ways, stairs, ramps going up and down, widening and narrowing of walk ways. It creates a huge bottleneck when its a social situation. Theres not many places to stand and socialize. Also, they have seating, but not where the food is. Where the food was I understand that its a catering, mass produced food - but wouldnt you think that the chefs would try to put their best food forward instead of the mediocre-ness they were serving. We had some cut rolls, some sushi, and a variety of Chinese food. If the best thing that came out of your kitchen was some mashed sweet potatoes/yams - um, Houston we have a problem. Overall the sampling of food I had here discourages me from coming here for an actual meal. Theres valet parking ($$$) at the Ritz-Carlton, also, parking within the LA Live Complex. Im not sure if WP24 validates or provides parking - since it was included.

Food is good. Bar service is terrible! Manager made eye contact and did not attend to me. Two couples came in after me and were approached and served before my boyfriend and I. I placed my order while server was cleaning some glasses right in front of me to make clear we had not been served. Another worker pulled the server aside to ensure we were taken care of. I probably wasnt hiding my frustration. Server reassured him that we had been helped and when he returned, he began working on some one elses drinks!!!! We only ordered two shots of vodka. We walked out. Thanks WP24.

Keep your receipt, youll need it. Three days after dining here, more than 3 times the amount of my meal was pulled out of my account. 10 days later, as of this writing, I still dont have my money back. They keep telling me its "in process" as though their accounting process is something I should have to endure. It took them 30 seconds to steal from me and we all know how fast a card charge can be reversed. If you feel like doing without a couple hundred extra bucks for a couple of weeks for no reason, belly up. I know mistakes happen, but the follow-up has been sad.

The food here is nothing short of amazing. The captivating view of downtown and LA Live, coupled with the ambiance and décor, are what clearly take WP24 from just a restaurant, to a dining experience. However, for a $100+/ per plate, the service leaves something to be desired. I have a strong belief that a waiter or waitress in such a high end restaurant, needs to be prepared to go above and beyond to EARN a 20% tip, rather than just EXPECT $50+ for doing the same thing the servers do at Applebees

The view & service is bar (no pun intended) none. I had the 4 for $24, which is valid 5-7pm daily. It consists of 2 dumplings, fried string beans w/ addictive sauce if there werent any witnesses, 2 pieces of duck filled spring rolls, & 2 fried chicken skewers on a plate. I also had the Negi-Hama roll & 2 glasses of white wine from Santa Barbara. For those who like flavor bombs, the 4 for $24 is ideal. For those w/ a lighter palate, the Negi-Hama is best. The wine was crisp & refreshing.

The bartender here is great. He suggested a few quick bites and they were great. We grabbed a quick bite and a few drinks. Had the spring rolls. Delicious! And the Chinese donuts are amazing! Had the chocolate cake too and it was great. Had the bruno mars drink. Delicious! Everything was delicious. The crowd is mixed. Lots of people from the convention, a few ESPN guys we saw at the next table. Its on the 24th floor of the Ritz carlton . Out the elevator, to the right.

With a few exceptions, the food was heavy, goopy and overly sweet. We all began to feel quite full after the starters. "Angry Lobster" overwhelmed the lobster with its thick, sweet sauce. A scallop entree took perfectly nice scallops and coated them in thick, heavy breading. The view is great and the service professional, but the room feels a bit like youre in a hotel function room. Oh, and its super expensive.

Asian fusion at its best! The views are stunning. We have come right when it opens to watch the sun set over downtown and all the poor souls driving on the 110. You can sit down looking at the panoramic views and order from the full menu. Its all great. Weve ordered most of the menu. Im always surprised that this place isnt packed right after work. But later in the evening this place is hopping.

Food was prepared perfectly. Spiced perfectly. The views are really nice, it feels like youre in new York NY almost. The waitress was great and the restaurant in general was a good 4to5star experience, but they could use another one or two waitresses and the bartender underpoured a bit and shakes the drinks too long so the ice melts and waters down the taste of the liquor is my only complaint ...

The Scallop & Prawn Sui Mai was divine. We were treated like royalty. I had to speak with the owner to tell him that everything was perfect; with the exception of one small issue: the SPAGHETTI was awful! The SPAGHETTI sauce was far too salty, the meatballs were more like dumplings, and the SPAGHETTI, SPAGETABOUT it! Overall I give it five stars but I do not, repeat do not recommend the SPAGHETTI!

All I can say is. WOW!! My hubby and I went in tonight, taking a chance, was so surprised to find out that Tel y is also the owner of Yen Yen in Cocoa Beach now we know the food will be great! Becky, our server was so awesome and personable we will ask for her every time we visit - food was exceptional and we had a great night! Thank you Tel y for bringing your wonderful food closer to us!

I love the view and Ill keep on coming back for it especially since it keeps changing as DTLA expands. The cocktails are always good and I really enjoyed the Hula for dessert. It definitely took shaved ice to another level. My friends were reluctant to order it but it was definitely the one we enjoyed the most. And i know...random...The jasmine tea was aromatic and heavenly for me...

First off the view of this place is amazing. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the Downtown L. A. Life but the food is to die for. I highly recommend the RAINBOW ROLLS and the SPICY TUNA ROLLS and accompany with a Sapporo or a good beer of your choice. Regardless this place is perfect for a date, reunion with close friends even a spot to be with yourself.

This is an Argentinian steakhouse in Melrose Ave. We came for dinner and loved it! The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was very good and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered tasty Empanadas, excellent steaks (Bife de Lomo a la Portabella and Entraña and very good pasta dishes (Ravioles de Porcini, Ñoquis de Papa). We are pleased to recommend!
