Let me preface this by saying, my husband and I are lovers of Italian food. I am from San Francisco and practically grew up in the kitchens of my Italian girlfriends grandmothers. My husband is from New York where we all know there is no shortage of good Italian. I have never tasted such bad pizza in my entire life. Calling this food "Italian" is an insult to the Italian people. The crust was bland and burnt. In fact it was almost rock like. The tomoto sauce had absolutely no flavor. It was as if someone had poured a can of Hunts tomato sauce over melba toast and lightly spinkled it with pre packaged supermarket cheese. Where I am from a slice of plain cheese pizza has a symphony of flavors just in the sauce alone. The hint of herbs and spices accented with the subtle but strong presence of quality Italian cheese is what pizza is for us. This was not the case at Casa Bianca. We both had to drown our slices in the stale Parm cheese that usually sits on the table as decoration. That cheese became our lifeline. We also had the house salad with "Italian" dressing. The dressing was clearly some supermarket Craft generic brand. The olive oil and lemon with herb dressing with mixed greens that is a staple in east coast and San Francisco eaterys was truly missed. Italian food is simple peasant food. What makes it special are fresh ingredients and the love and time that is put into the food. Casa Bianca should change its name to Casa Bland!

Ive been coming here for a long time and I really had to think about my last experience there before I put this review. Parking again difficult and you probably already know that. I came in with a friend and was not greeted at all. Took a while to get their attention as I simply wanted a menu to look at. Afraid to say we were in a hurry to eat, dont ever be in a hurry to eat at this place because service is slow (or maybe it was just our waitress). My parents arrived and I asked to order so our food so it would be ready as we were already waiting for a couple of minutes. Woman turns to me and says you wont be waiting and we wouldnt want your food to come out before you. Okay that makes sense but a couple minutes past by and we were still waiting. A party had already left and the turn around took forever to clear and clean the table. The waitress that helped us woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something and didnt tend to us at all but take our order and give us our food. My parents received poor service after I had to leave to catch the train. Not impressed and disappointed by the differential treatment and service. Keeping the 3 stars as the pizza is still good. But will probably will do pick up from now on.

I grew up near here, and had never been. I love pizza. I make pizza. I spend time making good dough, and focus on NYC style pies. Casa Bianca makes a think crust pizza, which is ok. Growing up people either said this place was the best, or that it was severely overrated. After visiting myself, and this is just my opinion, this place is completely overrated. The spumoni had nothing but maraschino cherries in it, the pie itself was nothing to write home about, but the pasta was ok. I seriously dont understand why there is a line out the door for this place 5 nights a week when the food is so completely underwhelming. I do have to say, in line with a few of the yelp reviews, if you want NYC style pizza, do not come here. You will be severely disappointed.

The best pizza Ive ever had, and Ive been to the "the best" in NYC. While the average pizza in NYC is better than the average pizza in LA, Casa Biancas pizza is THE BEST, overall. The staff has been the same people, pretty much, since Ive been going there-about 25 years- and theyre top notch. The decor hasnt changed much either. Its modest and quaint, cute even. Always get their regular crust. Get eggplant on it. Hate eggplant? Try it anyway. If you like meat, get Sausage & Eggplant. If youre daring, get Pepperoni & Pepperoncinis, its amazing. But you really should get eggplant. Not in the mood for pizza, get the eggplant parmigiana. Oh, btw, cash only-but they have an ATM just in case.

A friend of mine whose family use to own a pizza place in Chicago told me this was the best pizza in LA, and as close as you could get to actual Chicago pizza flavor. I have yet to prove him wrong. Their spices and sauce and dough make the perfect combination for some of the best TASTING pizza Ive ever had. I never thought pizza could taste so good. IT is Chicago style, but not deep dish. The owners are from the Windy City and use ingredients and methods like the did back home. This pizza is delicious and worth driving 30+ mins to get it. It even ruined my other favorite pizza place in Hollywood for me; they just cant compete with the great taste of Casa Bianca.

I cannot believe what some of these others are saying about this pizza. Yes, its greasy if you get the sausage cause the sausage is home made and the BEST youll ever have. People are just used to that stuff, whatever you want to call it but it doesnt taste like REAL sausage, from those chain pizza joints. This is the REAL stuff. The crust is great. The sauce is great. If you dont want it to be greasy get the eggplant, garlic tomato pizza. Thats wonderful for the vegitarians out there. Great Antipasta Salad. The Pasta Pesto is fantastic! But you go for the PIZZA. And, yes, be prepared to wait for dinner cause, guess what, people LOVE this pizza!!!

I was thrilled to death to discover this place (and the awesome neighborhood of Eagle Rock), and it turned out just like I expected, with the crowds, the red-and-white-checked table cloths, the menu, the excitement -- everything. Though I have nothing but good things to say about Casa Bianca, there is one exception: My pizza, a large cheese pizza, was dry and not very tasty at all. However, I loved the place so much, Ill give it another try, this time with a pepperoni pizza and the beautiful-looking antipasto salad. But my first visit was bittersweet because the main event, the pizza, was so unimpressive.

Came here for the first time on Halloween and it was packed. Being said the service was good and able to have our carry out order ready in under half an hour. This place has been a staple in Eagle Rock for a long time and the interior has that old school pizza parlor feel to it. Our drive was only five minuets away and unfortunately when we got home the pizza was already cold. Everything was a little dry as there wasnt much sauce to go around. The toppings were good and the eggplant was fantastic. Perhaps everything is a little fresher when dining in, but my carry out experience was just average.

Rapida atencion, muy deliciosa la comida, previos convenientes, platos abundantes, solo que es muy popular y hay que esperar para conseguir mesa, y no se puede reservar mesa para 5, solo para 6, eso me parece mal, igual vale la pena la espera.
