I love the Baja Sonora on Clark. The service is good and the food is great. THIS location continually disappoints me. I try it over and over again because its closer to my house, but Im always dissatisfied. They regularly get my order wrong, and when they get it right it is luke warm at best and they put it together haphazardly. I never know what Im going to get, but its never satisfactory. I always order the number 7, with black beans, but half the time I cant find the enchilada until I dig through the dry rice and the cold beans with cold cheese on top or Im digging through refried beans and scraping them off because I dont eat refried beans. The servers always seem to be bored and understandably so, the place is always barren. They are so bored they always forget my drink and I either take the hit, or I come back 10 minutes later to come ask for it. The food quality is incomparable to the Clark location. The salsa isnt as good, the chips are burned, the taco shells are never intact, the portions are smaller, and the enchilada sauce is never as good. Ultimately Im disappointed. Ive been eating at Baja Sonora for the better half of a decade and I was excited to have one even closer to home, but I dont think Ill be eating there for awhile unless there are some significant changes.

First off Im not a fan of standup ordering and seat yourself dining. The large menu on the wall would be more useful if it were in proximity of cash register too. When we came in their was 3 separate tables with dirty dishes in them & just as we finished their was 6 ours included, basically bussing tables wasnt happening with 6 employees present. Items are priced fair and food was very average, I was hoping for better to even out the rest buuuuut not so much. Over all ot terrible but just not for us. Would be surprised if they make it thru 2017. The opritunity for a great place with its location though! If it had flavor of say Taco Santa Fe or Enriques it would be a "goldmine" with the Los Alamitos community Im sure.

This is a small, quaint restaurant that seats 50 to 75 people. The food is delicious! They have different salsas that range from sweet to super spicy. We had the following combos that came with rice and beans: pork wet burrito, beef wet burrito, tamale, hard shredded beef tacos, taquitos with guacamole, and the soft beef tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty! The taquitos had a good amount of shredded beef that was juicy, not dry, or over-cooked. The staff was pleasant, and prices were extremely reasonable for the large portions. Yes!!!! I would recommend this place!

They do an excellent job here with service and cleanliness. The food is what weve come to expect from the Clark Ave location (which is temporarily closed while undergoing renovation) - good and plenty of it. The location is a bit small but the upside is it doesnt get as noisy as the other locations can get.

The Baja Sonora on Clark is my favorite local Mexican joint. This one... Not so much. By comparison the food is okay, but the chips are old and cold(!). Left much to be to be desired. Ill just have to wait patiently for the Baja on Clark to undergo renovations.

Baja Sonora has excellent food and Because of that theyre expanding from thier location in Long Beach at Spring and Clark, which is being remodeled. I just eat at thier location in Los Alamitos and it was gooood. You eat here youll leave FULL and SATISFIED..

I love this place! The owner happened to come to my work to drop off a menu. They had just opened. I thought I would try it.......now Im hooked. The food is awesome and so are the prices. The service is good too.
