Went in with expectations after listening to The Fork Report podcast, expectations were not met. Tried the Mole Tot Poutine and it was just okay, all I could taste was the tots. Tried the New Mexico Green Hatch Spaghetti, pasta was overcooked, and the plate was dry, no much sauce, but I did like the spice level. The wife tried the Estilo Puerto Nuevo Lobster, flavor was on point, but the lobster is tiny. Still want to give some of their other plates a taste, so plan on coming back, hopefully its a better experience, going in with no or bad expectations.

Second time here. Its been a long time, but I think it was better than the first! Friendly staff and very good food are the reasons that I will be back. Had their margarita, but it wasnt for me. Will try something different next time. One interesting note: it looks like they serve Keurig coffee here as it was being prepared next to me at the bar. I guess you wouldnt necessarily come here for coffee, but dont expect a coffeehouse-quality for your cup of joe.

Great, serene location, great service, very clean and authentic! So far Ive had the Tuna tar tar tacos, carne asada tacos and a short rib burrito----all amazing! Hand made tortillas! Awesome selection of specialty drinks I must return to try! Lobster split right down the middle and grilled! Will be returning soon! P.s. its located next to the Bevmo, in case Google maps gets you lost too.

Finally had a chance to eat here during happy hour. They have great deals and great food. Tacos, mole tator tots, home made tortillas, buttery corn, shrimp ceviche, etc. The drinks are strong and delicious. Great ambiance, even a family of ducks was hanging out inside the restaurant. We tried the salted caramel churros and tres leches carrot cake. Cant wait to return.

This place is Awesome!! Food is amazing. They do a great job of mixing traditional flavors with contemporary. And they have their own take on each dish making it unique and delicious. Their cocktails are great. The charred octopus was the best Ive ever had! The New Mexico hatch green chili spaghetti and the Tres mares salmon pan roast were both phenomenal!

Fine Mexican dining in a lovely ambiance and great service (service can be a bit slow if theyre busy, so dont go if youre in a rush, only if you have the time to slow down and relax). Try the Mole tot poutine and youll keep going back - that mole is to die for! Been here several times, and weve never been disappointed by any dish. Highly recommend!

Cute Mexican restaurant in Long Beach, Ca. They have one of the best margaritas Ive ever had called the Playa Margarita. The taco shells are made by hand in the seating area. The staff was good humored and decor was pretty cool. They have a second floor, great for private parties, seats about 25 amigos. #LocalGuides

Love it! Long Beach food isnt my husbands favorite, but he really enjoyed Hacienda Vieja. I, however, love Long Beach food and thought the chicken enchilada was fantastic. We had great wait service and were really pleased with the ambiance and presentation of the food. We will definitely be back again.

One of the worst by far, terrible location, dirty floors, bathroom stunk. Food is extremly hot and over spiced as if the are trying to cover up something. Horrible service had to turn my food back twice it was nasty. Do not waste your time or money on this place, they need to close that dump down.

This place has a very energetic and plugged-in, professional staff. We arrived close to 11 pm, sat at the bar and had a drink. Citraholic IPA was a winner for sure. Theyll serve you hot tostadas while you sip which is nice. Definitely a bar and restaurant for the grown and sexy. We will be back!

If the pricing were a bit better then maybe I would add a star but $13.50 for 3 brisket tacos is a lot. The brisket itself was good, but the toppings didnt really go. The brussel sprouts were good but not small portion $8.00 good...

It always seems crowed so wanted to check it out, but very disappointed. Chips or was it fried tortillas greasy, salsa was okay. Portion size was fine. But price high and the fish was not fresh (had slight fishy smell).

Love. Everything is so good, from the apps to the cocktails, entrees and desserts, no detail is too small. The rice and beans, chips and salsa and homemade tortillas are all fantastic. Cant say enough, just try it.

Burger, taco, and tater tots here are good. Cocktail is also good. Normal high price here. Expect 30 minutes wait if its 6 to 7 pm. However, do not ever ever order coffee here because coffee is from Keurig machine.
