This one of those higher end dive bars -- much bigger and livelier than I wouldve imagined! The bar is like an island in the middle of the space and from there you can perch and watch all the zany characters coming in and out. Great prices and friendly staff, even the tough looking dude sporting the mullet!

I suppose if you are new to Marin and need to score something harder than ordinary recreational drugs, this would be your 1st stop. Thats the rumors Ive heard and Ive heard a lot after being in Marin almost 50 years. Have not been here in 40 years.

Getting service is kind of difficult most of the time, and the last time I went, they literally turned a Pete Townsend song that I paid for on the jukebox off halfway through because the bartender didnt "want to listen to that s*** at a dive bar".

If your not from around the Larkspur area, dont waste your time heading to this bar. Although its not posted, this is a locals bar only! Good luck trying to get a drink!

Not sure why people are giving this anything other than 5 stars. Cool place. Cheap draft beer. Packed for Giants playoff game. Nice bartenders. Manly bar.

Nice local bar with stiff drinks. Bar tender was helpful when choosing drinks and was fast. He definitely kept a good bar. Pool tables on premises!!

Solid dive bar. Pool, good reasonable beer choices, interesting crowd. Prefer 2am or smittys but thats just personal preference.
