Donut Alley used to be great. The donuts were beautiful pillows of deliciousness. The old owner was very nice, and you felt like his donuts were made with love. However, the store changed hands in early 2009, and it has not been a change for the better. The donuts dont taste good, they dont look good (at least Safeway donuts look uniform and attractive...), and they have gotten much more expensive. The new owner complains about how early he has to get up and how he has figured out how he can come in later (by doing a sloppy job of making donuts). The woman who works there (the owners wife?) is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Why is she working in a donut store when she clearly hates the public? She is rude, curt, and yelled at me for using the wrong kind of cup for water, and made rude faces about my childrens behavior (who are actually well behaved, but they *are* children).

When you look back at your youth, this is the donut shop you wished your parents brought you to. The donuts are always fresh, the place is welcoming and the owner is a pure joy to know. Theres lots of parking and plenty of reasons to stop by. Im serious, you really should go, and if you have kids, bring em along. Theyll thank you some day for doing so.

I have tried donuts all over the world, and these are as good as they come. I kid you not, the fluffiness of the inside, crispyness of the outside, the wonderful aroma and taste, these donut make life worth living. The quaint location and friendly staff are always a welcome sight as well. I hope this place stays open forever

I love this little place. Its been around forever and definitely has that old-time neighborhood feel. The donuts are awesome. They make them throughout the morning, so you always get THE absolute very freshest donuts. And, of course, nothing like fresh donuts.
