So i went to this place with my family, especially because my mom was with us and all she likes is Indian food, but i was thoroughly disappointing. The servers were not at all courteous and were in a hurry to shut down their afternoon shift. We tried aloo chat for appetizers, and it was pathetic! I had asked the server earlier for suggestions and if that was a good pick, and he told me its "gora style". I figured what that translated to later. I also recommend NOT to get the Mulligatawny soup as it was pathetic! I suggest going to the mexican joint right by this place which seemed a lot more bright and fun!

This place is great! I have been enjoying this spot for 20+ years! The food is delicious, the staff very very friendly and the food is my favorite! I wish I could eat there every day! Their lunch buffet is the best, but be careful...the food is so good if you are like me you will eat too much! The Fish Vindaloo is my favorite, its a spicy savory swordfish that melts in your mouth...not off the grill like so many other places but done in a pan and its out of this world! This is my go-to for birthdays, holidays, and anytime I want a special treat!

We have gone to several Indian Restaurants in Orange County. The best seem to be in Anaheim privately owned. Natraj is a chain restaurant, and unfortunately, not that exciting. First, the wait staff are almost rude. They take food away before we were ready for them to do so. They seem to be in a hurry for customers to eat and leave. We used a restaurant. com certificate for this one, and they added the 18% tip, which they didnt deserve to the total. While the food isnt bad, it isnt stellar either. Its overpriced and so so.

A group of us drove by this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. As a huge fan of Indian food -- its my favorite cuisine -- I was very disappointed to find that the dal and bhindi masala were overwhelmingly bland, lacking in both flavor and spiciness. For such poor quality fare, the prices were stiff and unjustifiable. We were the only table in the restaurant, which of course should have been sufficient warning -- stay away from empty restaurants! Based on its food, Natraj definitely deserves to be empty.

The service and authentic dishes are excellent. I love the fish kebab and hot pickle condiment. My family from Toronto, Canada always raves about the chicken Tandoori and chicken Tikka. My office staff members love the lamb kebab and Spinach dishes. Every time I go, they have the same high quality I remember. This is a small place, and always packed when I go. Natraj is high class all the way. Randall G. Levine, Esq., Law Offices of Randall G. Levine, Laguna Beach & Riverside

When asked where i wanted to go for dinner, Natraj was my first choice. I was not disappointed; great service, delightful choices and subtle flavors have been consistent each time I have dined there. I love Indian cuisine and have tried restaurants from Los Angeles to New York to London; Natraj has been very good indeed. The Laguna Beach feel is quite apparent in this little place and I look forward to my next visit.

Really disappointing, stopped in after living in the area for some months and asked if I could see a menu, with the aim to have a nice Sunday evening meal. I was told its on the website, look at the website if you want to see what we serve. I explained I wanted to eat in but that didnt help. Shame for a restaurant with 2 tables occupied. Hopefully they were just having a bad day, still I wont be back.

What is this indescribable feeling that I have?! Its probably because I just had the Chicken Tiki Masala here. Its creamy and rich yet tangy at the same time. I think this is one of the best curries Ive had in a while. This place is dimly lit and appears authentic - I totally dig the bison paintings on the wall. Come here if youre looking for an adventure to tasty-ville.

The worst Indian restaraunt. Such a disgrace. When I asked for paper napkins the old waiter got it from the restroom. When I asked for extra spicy in the chicken curry they added extra turmeric and thats not the way Indian food is cooked. Never go to such Indian restaraunts, they do not know how to cook the authentic Indian food. The worst ever Indian restaraunt.

I would go back for just house salad alone! I was blown away with how delicious they made something usually as basic as a salad. I took one of the staffs recommendations for the entree and was delighted with the blend of sweet, creamy, and spicy. Had great conversation with one of the servers as well, he was very personable and informative about the food!

The buffet was very bad. Little choice and bad quality. The chicken was far from fresh. I got sick after that lunch. Comparing it with other Indian restaurants (in the same price range) we have been to, cant rate this one with more than 1 star. The situation with Indian Food in southern Orange County is deplorable. We havent found anything decent yet.

Food is good In general but service is hit and miss there. Today was definitely A miss with service. After the food arrived, i Never saw our waiter for the next 45 min. Couldnt get more things. Couldnt order dessert. Had to go to the front and ask for the waiter to pay. Also, kinda expensive for indian restaurant.

Food was ok at best. Stopped by for the lunch buffet. No chicken tikka masala like most places. The othet items were pretty bland. Except for the lentils. Those were awesome. But service was good. I dont think I would go there again.

The corn and mango soup is delicious, but you may like to have it for desert. prices average, atmosphere lacking in India culture. The food is good, but not very seasoned enough for my pallet. Of course, I am from Louisiana.

Awful service !!! Someone needs to teach them hospitality. Natraj management please do not forget we (Indians) are famous for our hospitality. Dont forget you guys are charging money for food.

Cant figure out how this place stays open...it never has more than 2 parties inside and the buffet food was not worth mentioning.
