Anna-poorna? So its a mix between Anna Kournikova and porn? Maybe not, but still sounds good... One major issue with Indian food is the fact that it is always HIT OR MISS. It can taste like eating poo out of a diaper (family guy) or it can taste like a festive and spicy experience. If it is make right you should, ask for plenty of water and maybe a mango smooth to wash down the heat and oily/ greasiness. Also, if you have any Indian friends be very nice to their mom, because restaurant food is nothing compared to the real thing. Secondly, why is Indian food so expensive? Seriously!! Does everyone in India drink fine wines and drive sports cars? NOOOO! You are thinking of Italy. Indian food should be the peoples food not the food of kings. Just simple food that everyone can enjoy, but some how its never cheap. For these prices at least give me a Filet Mignon or a Prime Rib! Of course, that will never happen since Indian food is mainly vegetarian. Correctly me if Im wrong, but real Indian food should not have any meat in it. Have I scared you yet? I originally had this place rated as 4 stars, but while writing this review I have downgrade to 3 stars. The price is seriously an issue. Value is not great. If you are a decent to big eater you will probably easily pay about 30 bucks per person. SERVICE: Excellent. Very helpful and tentative. I got there late maybe 15 to 20 minutes before closing and the restaurant was still packed 1 hour later. Servers do not do the asian trick of shoving the bill in your face to get you to leave. FOOD: Im undecided. Not spicy. Its not the best Indian food, but its better than average. If you are craving Indian food this will do the trick. Although the Garlic Naan Meh had better. Lets just say if you toast the Trader Joes brand Naan and put some butter on it I will pick TJs as the winner. The sauces are delicious, but the meat, either chicken or lamb,.. you have half to swim around in the sauce to find some. Maybe bring a magnified glass will help. PRICE: Yeahhh... Is there any ATM near by? Atmosphere: Its small place hidden in the construction area, but cozie and packed with hungry people. Seems very family friendly. Would I ever go back? If you are paying sure ! :) Hmmm Is there a lunch buffet? Hold on.. Im reading and writing at the same time. Doh! I guess there is... Well silly me. I may come back again. I only 50% recommend this place to try, but if you MUST! Try it out and let me know how it goes. You will either like it or feel unsatisfied. One thing I can guarantee You will smell like curry when you leave . Even if you shower ,curry smells will seep out of your pores. More importantly, how does your stomach feel? Do you need to release the evil within? Mmm Currry.

If could give it negative stars I would. I am absolutely disgusted when I went to what was my favorite Indian restaurant and ordered my favorite dish chicken tikka masala to find a dead roach in my food and worse of all it was cooked in the rice because I found pieces of it scattered inside. Seriously it was cooked in the fing rice! At first I thought it was burned rice, upon further inspection Im finding roach legs and roach wings, uuuggghhhh!!!! WTF!!!! Are you kidding me!? Whats worse is that Im sure whoever was cooking the rice had to have seen it and noticed it in the rice and didnt bother to do anything about it. How could someone not have noticed this in the kitchen. Im literally nauseous as Im writing this. Its a shame because this was my go to place to get Indian food. Ive been to some hole in the wall places in my travels around the world and even in those places Ive never had this happen to me. I will never eat here again and you shouldnt either, fing nasty!!!

3-17-15 we went there for dinner and ordered fish tikka and chilly chicken gravy . It was the nastiest food ever had...Fish had a bad smell and the chilli chicken was under cooked....We went there many times had no complains but this time we told the waiter about the food he said he will give us discount.Which he didnt give us. He charged us $51 for under cook chicken and expired fish. It was ripoff. We were there regular customer after this we will never go there....They lost there customers with there bad customer service. Rest in peace Annapoorna. Will not recommend it to anyone.

I was skeptic about an Indian Lunch Buffet. But after having lunch here, I shall never judge a book by its cover. The lunch was phenomenal. The vegetable curry was my favorite amongst everything else. I have had Indian food twice. This was my second time, but first time at this place. I love curry. The naan was great as well. I wish they refilled the naan more, but i still loved it here. I am going to come here next time for sure. I wish my dad was alive to eat the curry here. I can only dream about it now.. with a smile on his face and his laugh.

Rude waiters. Did not even smile at us. Felt very unwelcoming. While we are reviewing the menu, one person came to take order but we asked to give us 5 more mins. After few mins, another waiter showed up to take order. Food we got was mediocre. We came here to get some South Indian dishes. Vada tasted sour. Dosas were ok. At the end when I gave my credit card, the waiter who was taking the card was too casual that the card fell down at next table. Again no apologies were made. Overall we had bad experience.

Went there for Sunday Lunch Buffet. The starters (Veg bajji/samosa/spring rolls) were very good. Idli was ok. The chutneys were not good though. They were pretty much straight out of the freezer. Sambar was awful. Naan was soft and fluffy. Palak panneer/rajma masala/aloo gobi - They lacked as much salt as they lacked flavor.. The desserts - yellow kesari was good. Mango pudding was superb. Gulab jamoon was out of the world. Overall, bad main course, good starters and great desserts..

We went on 5/24/15 for lunch. Wow, from the rush and crowd, on top of Indian spices smell from intermittently opening main door made us to wait. It was worth waiting. I never had such a delicious food in lunch buffet. Fresh garlic naan was so tasty, I was able to finish half of a naan without anything. Many choices and everything perfect. I would highly recommend and matter of fact I spoke to 3 of my friends to go for it.

We ordered 6 Biryanis, Chilli Chicken & Lamb curry, Biryanis were no where close to Dum Biryani that they claim, it was mixed with tons of cloves and black pepper, every spoon had atleast 10 of them, got tired picking them out. Lamb curry was so so bland....Only Thing that was good was Chilly chicken, it was cooked to perfection, price wise the place is Little bit pricy.

This place has really tasty Rasam (South Indian spicy soup). White table cloths restaurant, bit expensive compared to other Indian restaurants around but you get the best for the price you pay. Their Dosa (Indian Crapes) collection is really good. Kids and Family friendly place but you have to wait in line to get a table sometimes, specially during the weekends
