My wife and I were happily welcomed by all 4 staff when we entered this shop last Sunday.Elixir had been recently recommended to us by a friend when we complained that there was no place to grab a really good cappuccino in La Jolla.We were familiar with the Elixir Expresso Bar in the UTC mall but we were not aware they had also opened in La Jolla.After confirming this location had a similar menu we ordered 2 lattes and 2 of their super value crepes.Thanks to Destiny and Rob for their warm conversation while we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.The coffee bar is a little difficult to spot from the sidewalk if you were walking along Girard Ave as it is down a short flight of stairs in a large building which houses other restaurants upstairs......but it is worth visiting for sure.And there is an elevator from street level which takes you up or down.These guys use Caffe Calabria roasted coffee beans which we consider to be the best....we even use the same brand at home.With such lovely friendly staff who know how to make really good lattes and tasty crepes we are sure to return next time we visit La Jolla........And we have been back many times since and its all good.

In this case, a wine bar coffee shop combination doesnt work. Its clearly ice cream coffee shop with a little wine area. I was attracted to thier website menu offering a cheese and meat platter but when I arrived they said they couldnt do it because they didnt have the bread for it. This was like T 4:30pm so there was no excuse for not going out to the store and getting some. They did have bread for sandwiches though. Poor service.

Cool place with good eats, drinks, and environment, however they need work on logistics. They should call out customer names rather than item names... There are only so many things on the menu and multiple customers were confused about if it was their turn. WiFi reliability was also pretty bad outside.

I love coffee but I have my favorite capuccino and is here. But is not a regular capuccino, is premium coffee bean, the perfect knowledge to how to make an authentic capuccino. Yummy crepes and delicious gelato. Friendly team and cool European industrial ambience, and more, makes this my favorite spot

Oh, I shouldve taken this picture when I first got my order! Cafe Viennese and Classic Crepe was so delicious! Truly dont know where the time went with this meal. Friendly staff and cool patio away from the sidewalk makes this place good for a pit stop during your walk of the village.

Best coffee place ever been. I ordered a latte with coconut milk and my coffee was amazing. My husband ordered Nutella crepes and it was super delicious. The atmosphere is charming and excellent to hang out. You definitely need to try this place. Thank you for the excellent service!

In pursuit of searching for a nice cafe to wrap up my lazy Sunday, found this awesome place. Excellent customer service andrich in taste cafe latte sums up my experience. Dont miss out on yummy yummy crepe it was definitely yummmmmmy. Definitely will visit this place once a week.

A bit on the pricey side. However, the atmosphere and accommodations are top notch with excellent wifi. Couches, tables, outside chairs, a bar, its got it all. Coffee is very good, but there is better gelato nearby.

My girlfriend ordered a drink and the server offered me the extra amount leftover from making it, which was great because I certainly wouldnt have been able to try a single dip of how it tasted otherwise!!!

Very laid back coffee shop. Felt open and welcoming. Great breakfast options, and multiple cold brew coffee options. Wife and I had crepes, very quickly prepared and filling.

Stopped in after brunch for a quick Dirty Chai and gelato. Really really good chai and friendly staff. I recommend the coconut gelato! Im not a coconut person, but wow.
