I havent ate here yet and planning on heading over to try tonight. Im super stoked about how well I hear the food is. Unfortunately its bad service in the reviews Im reading is a turn down. Most notably is a bad review from a long time customer that couldnt be serviced due to having a large party and having the lack of proper reservation in advancement. Now I totally get that the customer couldnt be service to satisfaction due to theyre own capability to think ahead. But what is most disappointing was to read how rude the manager "Nick" response to the review was and most insulting to the customer. So here is what I have to say to Nick. Who are you to down talk a good customer who had their hopes up on a favorite place on a special occasion? From one manager to another, I advise you to provide a different tone. Regardless of how the situation played out it is your responsibility to handle it with a certain care and courtesy . And I feel you did not provide a proper response. Your response alone makes me skeptic on even giving you my money for service. I think about how its a managers job to provide an atmosphere and how an attitude can carry over to their employees. So now Im expecting good food with bad service. Dont under estimate the power of bad reviews . May not be instant but in the long run these type of reviews can potentially collapse your business. Remember, you are good food. But what sets you aside from being a GREAT restaurant? ?

Bad service, I will not return, nor recommend this place. My boyfriend set his soda down on our table, rent to restroom, when we came back it was gone. Someone said the waiter placed several drinks on our table, then proceeded to pass them out, the bad thing is, he had already drank from it. #2. I ordered a baked potato with my meal, the waitress brings my plate, and says "Sorry we are out of potatoes, would you like something else"? I responded that I didnt want the other choices and asked if my meal could be discounted instead. Her response, "Its not our fault". Proper public relations being considered you would gave thought that she would have acted on a professional level, and excused herself to go check with the manager instead of the response I was given. My boyfriend, being the gentleman that he is, offers his potato to me, and orders green beans for himself. 3. My vegetables were hard. I sent them back asking to be cooked longer. The waitress is now passing out the bills, still no vegetables, or thr green beans my boyfriend substituted for the baked potato. My boyfriend proceeded to get up, go speak to someone about our side dishes to ask about the food. He seen the plate of green beans sitting on the counter. Our food comes, it is cold, and the vegetables were still hard. For the prices they charge, one would expect professionalism. I will never return to this establishment.

So, I come from Portland... and like most beer/coffee people in the Pacific Northwest, were super snobby about our local beers. This place knocks it out of the park. While their Seeds and Spice, pumpkin ale, is shy of our Elysian Night Owl... its still an excellent brew. Their Feats of Strength is a very nice ale with a hint of cranberry. Very delightful on a chilly day. The stout is surprisingly refreshing. While I usually only drink them in the winter and its cold outside, Id easily drink it during the summer. Finally, my favorite, the Aftermath. This German style beer is an excellent finish. It has a complex variety of flavors that take you to and fro in the typical Bravarian style. The food was also excellent. Not why I came, but excellent none the less. The service was also a treat (despite what I read from the reviews). The bartender courted my curious pallet and let this out of towner sample all of what this establishment has to offer. This is a must go to for any beer conneseur and a definite stop every time Im in the area. Thank you, Heroes Brewery!

I recently came by this restaurant for a work party. The menu seemed a bit too large and it seemed like the items overlapped a lot. I ordered a sandwich and received a large amount of french fries. They seem like the curly type that you would find at an Arbys restaurant. I sat on the patio and there were some outdoor heaters which helped to made it feel not so cold. It would be nice to have a barrier to prevent the cold air from coming in to the patio area. As a large group it was very disorganized to present the orders and there were several items that were given to the wrong people. Overall, this was just and alright place and I dont know if there was anything that would lead me to come back... Edit: 11/3/16 - So I came back here and found they use the glass Heinz bottles. From my understanding, Heinz discontinued making these as restaurants were refilling them with off brand. Sooooo this tells me that is what this restaurant is doing. Supposedly the new Heinz bottles are more sanitary as once they are emptied they cannot be refilled. Just an FYI

0 stars. Period. The owner, named Nick Montano, messed up my ID and claimed it is fake when it clearly is not. I understand denying service if believed to be suspicious, I am also a certified bartender, but messing up the ID when there is (strong) probability it is not fake is destruction of property and unnecessary. It took no less than 25 minutes to review and return my ID. At that point just calling the legal services and verifying authenticity would be much faster and less harmful for everyone. Avoid this place, especially if visiting from another state with a state issued ID. The owner has exceedingly poor manners and is rude beyond belief. Moreover he apparently expects the same of all employees; upon receiving my now messed up legal identification card, the employees did nothing but laugh and say, "sorry, cant do anything," which though is true, is beyond rude and unnecessary. I cannot believe this is considered ethical and acceptable behavior from employees, let alone the owner. Avoid this place, and especially the overwhelmingly rude owner.

Service was good. Considering we had a group of about 15 on a Thursday night, it wasnt too bad. Took awhile to get our food, but overall things were great. Servers were friendly & helpful. St. Louis ribs were yummy. Tender, not too saucy, not too dry. Creamed spinach was a bit too creamy & not enough spinach compared to what Ive always had, but it was tasty! Dipped my steak fries in it - yum! Chocolate cake was soooo good. DARK chocolate, not too sweet, could actually taste the cocoa! Because it was my birthday they offered me a free peach or apple cobbler... The table chose for me... Peach! The flavor was good & served with a scoop of vanilla but it didnt have the usual crunchy topping... It was more soft, almost more like a bread pudding- ish. But still delicious! Ohhh and on request from the table, the waitress sang when she brought it! Lol Awesome! We had some stragglers towards the end of our meal, but they never rushed us or tried clearing tables from under us. We had a great time!
