Having gone to a few Shabu Shabu, I must say this place is definitely one of my favorites. Service and food was great! After the Sunday service at Saddleback Church, my cousin and buddy was craving for some hot pot. We happened to park right in front of the place and looked up and saw SWSH Shabu Shabu. We were like when the heck did this place exist? Weve been going to 85 degree Bakery and never even noticed! Like what? Shabu Shabu? Take me there now earthlings! But wait *with finger point up*, I must check the Yelp reviews first on this place. Awesome 4/5 stars with over 200 reviews, sounds legit to me. Leggo! We bounced on over and was greeted by Son & Joe. They stared at us as we stared at them. They gave us are you coming in look and we gave them that are you going to kick us out look since we got kicked out another place prior to coming here due to closing time (another story for another time!). It was a good thing we didnt eat at the other place or we wouldnt have found this hidden gem! Praise God! Service: Son & Joe - totally AWESOME! Greeted, seated, informed us, recommendations, suggestions, the whole dealio! Food: Two kinds of broth - the regular broth that you find at all Shabu Shabu places & the Sukiyaki. The Sukiyaki was totally new to us and we all loved it! It comes with a pasteurized egg sauce. Totally weird at first, but wowieeeee! If youre unsure about which to pick, they can split the pot in half so that you can try both flavors. It was soooo good! I had both! Yippeee! The meat was thinly sliced and yummo! I got the short rib and that was good enough for me and I just love a place that serves brown rice. YES! I will come back! I will! I will! *jumping up and down like an overly excited child thats about to pee in their pants* We also had dessert! Full as heck, but made room for it. We had the Green Tea Vanilla Fondue per Joe. A must try! If you dont feel like shabu, come for fondue! This would be cute for dates or just for those who just want some dam sweets! Is that Strawberry dipped in Green Tea Vanilla? GIVE IT TO ME! *elbow punches buddys face* Environment: totally hip, nice and clean. Theres a bar area and a booth area. The difference is that the bar area you get your own pot and at the booth you get to share the pot if you have a party of 2 or more. As we exited towards the door, happy and full of gluttony. We were feeling so cool because we found a yummy place! All 3 of us (the Triad) with our stunna shades on at night not sure where were going, but heading somewhere...slammed open the door like Chuck Norris would, rolling out.. no seriously.. we had to ROLLLL out because we were full as heck! Anyway, we rolled out, all cool though, with bright lights and fog in the background and a dozen white doves released.. it was.. just.. wait for it... AMAZING.. Yep I felt like story telling today. So yes, this is my new favorite place. Ill be heading there for Shabu Shabu from now on. Catch me if you can - Frank Abagnale style!

Had a lot of fun eating here with my wife and daughter. My wife got the sukiyaki broth, which was kind of sweet, but tasty. I got the spicy miso which was spicy, as billed. I also had a drop of capsaicin extract added to my peanut sauce. Even one drop brought quite a bit of great, so go lightly! Our daughter got the basic broth but then punched it up with green onions and garlic. The veggies were nice and fresh, the meat was super thin and good with the broth and sometimes some sauce, though that wasnt strictly necessary. The polite, helpful staff were attentive. Im glad we went.

Top quality pieces of meat and an unbelievably flavorful ponzu and goma sauce. For those who have never had shabu, the super friendly staff will show you the tricks of the trade. Fabulous design, location and my favorite shabu spot in So. Cal... Ive been to my share of places, and this one is like no other. Finish your meal with the green tea fondue, you can thank me later.

Very enjoyable Shabu Shabu albiet for the small dining area. Food is decent but poor customer policies that are enforced instead of focusing on satisfaction. Id recommend parking on the 2nd story of the structure which puts you right next to the restaurant. Trying to find a spot out in the open parking can be more hassel than what its worth.

All the staffs were kind and friendly, but the quality of the meat was not that outstanding. It was really broken when you use the chopsticks to pick it up. I tried a couple places that their meat was soft and not be broken easily. It was a pricey place with jusst okay food.

Awesome place. Clean, modern decor. Everyone gets their own broth, veggies and meats. Ordered the spicy miso broth w/ a combination of meats(Rib-eye, scallops and salmon). Great quality meats and veggies. Staff was extremely friendly. Will be back!

Im in love with this place, and everybody knows it. Their secret goma recipe is legit, they have more selections than any other Shabu and its quality. They know my name up in that spot now. I ❤️SWSH

Not enough broth options - they need a regular miso or dashi broth for non spicy eaters, since the sukiyaki is too sweet and and the Kombu is too bland.

Great place to get shabu shabu. They have a lunch & dinner menu that offers various meats and veggies. From sauces to service it was all top notch.
