I love Slapfish! Everytime we vist OC we stop at one or several of their locations for lunch. We love the Lobster roll but everything else is delicious too. My husband enjoys the hot fish bites and the ultimate taco is one of my favorites. Our daughter loves the kids plate with fish bites (much fresher and tastier than fish sticks) and always cleans her plate. We also like the soda station with Batch craft Soda with refreshing options like Black Cherry Soda or Shirley Temple.

Arrived around 8:30pm on a Thursday night before the start of the academic year so there was no wait. Ordered the daily fish plate with barramundi and fries with a side of New England Clam Chowder. The Fish Plate was good. Fish was cooked well and the dressing (or at least I think it was stressing, and not dipping sauce) tasted good with the salad. The Clam chowder tasted good. It was probably not as creamy and thick as I would like it but still good.

Its an overpriced seafood restaurant where you can easily spend $20 for tiny lobster roll and a drink. For hungry guys, you can probably eat about 3-4 lobster rolls, but thats about $100. Service was fair to poor. They forgot my order and ended up waiting 20 minutes to get the food. One good thing about this restaurant is that, they have plenty of choices on sauces.

We went at an odd hour so the place was pretty empty. The tall friendly waiter was so polite and attentive. The steamed seafood combo was not available for lunch for we just had the seafood stew. Everything was fresh but the broth was a bit lacking. Left our waiter a nice tip, I think he made our experience better than it would have been.

I had a shrimp Ceviche and 3 crab meat taquitos . Taquitos were soggy and they overuse that thousand island like sauce on everything. On the other side slapdash used the big and meaty chunky of shrimps for their ceviche.

Its good, but the prices. I understand lobster isnt cheap, but when its displayed in a store thats setup like a (nice) fast food joint youre going to feel some sticker shock at the cost of your meal.

Good food, slightly expensive. I have only gone on Tuesdays for the 2 dollar petite fish tacos. They are smaller than their usual tacos but they are pretty good. The chowder fries are delicious

Truly excellent and creative seafood dishes here. Great place for a tasty, delicious small seafood meal... as long as you are not too hungry. SlapFish style is informal counter service.

Had the daily fish plate with salmon and salad/veggies. Very good, especially the salmon. Took a while to get the food even though it seemed pretty slow. Will definitely be back though.
