Loaded Kogi Fries are French fries topped with sriracha cheese sauce, marinated ribeye, scallions, and jalapenos. The fries are crispy and make a great base for the toppings. The bulgogi is tender and uniquely flavored just like bulgogi should be. The silky sriracha cheese sauce seals the deal with a slight kick of heat. This is the ultimate Korean fusion comfort food! Rating: 5/5 Korean fried chicken is a different technique of frying chicken using a twice fry method similar to Belgian frites. The skin comes out crispier while the chicken is itself is less greasy. The technique also seals in juices for tender, juicy bites. The soy garlic sauce is the most flavorful of the sauce choices. It has an excellent balance of saltiness from the soy and the sweet, yet bright flavor of the garlic. Chinese chili sauce is similar to a sweet chili sauce found in most Chinese and Filipino cuisines and not overly sweet. Spicy sauce is a medium-hot level of spiciness that yields a slow burn which migrates from the tip of the tongue and down your throat. Black peppercorn sauce is a little bit on the sweeter side with a nice balance of pepper. Try them all and decide for yourself! Rating: 5/5 Bibimbap is a hot stone bowl filled with rice and topped with seasonal vegetables, marinated ribeye, and an egg yolk. This is Korea’s version of beef bowl. The bulgogi is definitely the star of this dish with its tender texture and marinated flavors. The yolk adds a richness similar to tamago meshi in Japanese cuisine. The vegetables add texture and brightness with a balance of acidic pickled flavors. Rating: 4.5/5

Should have gotten the kogi fries but we were trying to be "healthy" so we skipped it. Still having crazy regrets about it...and will be back for them! We got the kids size meal that comes with fries and 5 wings (spicy). It was a great size to sample a type of sauce and fries without getting orders that were too big. The fries were battered and good; they managed to stay crispy during the drive home. We also got a medium size order of wings, which comes with 20 pieces. The soy garlic was a safe bet that ended up being a solid compromise for those who were unable to pick which sauce. Still-Id pick the spicy anyday. The thing about Korean wings is that they usually involve a combination of baking and frying to get the crispy batter that we all love. But here, I think they do that times three. The batter was massive and often times, I was eating that more than I was eating the chicken underneath it all. I aint complaining-it was delicious-but it just means that you have to be ready to take on the massive calorie uptake.

Found this gem near the hotel. I went in half an hour before the kitchen close and they still welcome me with big smiles. I order all three flavor wings, peppercorn, Chinese chili and soy garlic, and kogi fries. These fried chicken is way better than Bon Chon chicken. The flavor is rich and not greasy at all. I like Chinese chili and soy garlic because I personally like the sweet flavor. Kogi fries top with marinated beef, jalapeño, cheese and scallion is just to die for. Fries is crunchy not soggy even with all the toppings. Very friendly staffs and service is attentive. They have other interesting items like salmon avocado salad, bibimbap, udon noodle, etc that I just didnt get a chance to try. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will totally go back in a heart beat.

A contemporary Asian Fusion eatery that has a few options and is just ok. I shared an order of Korean fried chicken and also had garlic noodles. The noodles were very disappointing, it was basically spaghetti with a few tiny bits of raw garlic and a lot of oil and a lot of garlic salt. It was more edible when I ate it with pieces of fried chicken, but it was definitely not worth $8. The chicken wings were good, would not recommend getting legs because it was overly breaded and had no flavor. Their garlic-soy would be a lot better if they added honey to tenderize the meat.

It was a clean, quiet place--good for a quick meal. The staff was very friendly. In terms of the food, it was a bit greasy, which I suppose is expected from a fried chicken place. Considering that I try not to eat foods that are too heavy on grease, do take my comment with a grain of salt. If youre looking for something remotely healthy, this is definitely not the place to get it. The fried chicken with soy ginger sauce was great; I loved the flavor and the crispy quality of the chicken.

Great Chicken, best Ive had for the area. Definitely like the the different flavors. To the comment from Niko Gonzelez, what are you an idiot? Your dietary needs? If you dont like the chicken of how its made, why did you even step into the restaurant in the first place. This isnt burger king where you can get your chicken how you like, this is how they specialize in making their version of chicken wings. You should stick to KFCs

I have been looking for a place in Southern California that has Korean fried chicken equal to that of bon chon chicken. I am glad to say that I have found it in Krave. The double fried chicken was perfectly crispy. I ordered the soy garlic and black peppercorn chicken and they were both flavorful with their own unique flavors. Definitely try out this place as it has some of the best Korean fried chicken I have ever had!

The food is amazing!!! I have been here a few times when I work in Orange County. Definitely order the wings (all flavors). They are possibly the best wings I have had. These are not the tiny wings you will find in a chain restaurant. They are huge pieces of chicken. Also consider getting the burger with kimchi slaw. The kimchi adds a great flavor to a well prepared burger. One of the best places to eat in Irvine.

I had a very unprofessional experience here, unacommidating when trying to trade sides, wouldnt make chicken without flour for my dietary needs...was told with attitude, "thats the only way we make it" as if I was insulting them because I cant digest it with flour! All you guys do is fry wings, you seriously cant make sure you dont roll them in flour before you fry them, lame excuse to be lazy I guess.

This place has good food but its pretty quiet location and feels lonely when you eat here. Ive been here twice and there is only ever one other group aside from my group dining in. Feels like more people get food to go Loaded kogi fries were enjoyable. The Korean Fried Chicken feels like they should be buffalo wings in terms of size rather than full chicken wings. Flavors are good.
