They have great coffe, free pasteries (which can be breakfast all by themselves), and huge portions! 2 people could easily split just one plate and be more than satisfied. A lot of the people in the cafe yesterday morning all had to-go boxes. The Huevos Rancheros were divine and my husbands countryfried steak was rich and crunchy, just like it should be. I can be a foodie freak but this food was so down to earth and tasy that I loved every bite. They serve fresh seasonal fruit - watermelon right now- and it has a great bright homey feel. This is at the top of my top 10 breakfast places!

All around great food weather you have a salad, a burger or breakfast its all delicious. I would recommend the chicken fried steak for breakfast try the jam on toast its awesome. And either a buffalo burger, fish and chips or the walnut apple salad with chicken ! All are so good! Great portion sizes you wont be disappointed. Enjoy!

Hardy portions. The milkshake and tin was not chintzy. The extra in the tin was almost full. In the pic I had already drank a lot. Large burgers with huge sides. The side salad was massive. Nothing was blow-your-mind amazing, but everything was very good. Service was prompt and friendly.

I grew up in Hopland and have been going to The Bluebird Cafe my whole life, the food is tasty fresh real food. Omlettes, pancakes, Thanksgiving Coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The huevos rancheros is delish!! The wait staff are super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We stop here almost every time we have to go thru Hopland which is about every other week during the summer time. Great people own the place and are some of the best people we have ever met, always warm welcome, and by the way dont ever not have a bison burger from the bluebird.

Its been years since Ive ate there. ..I remember that the food was really good- a tad pricey...the staff was friendly - but the dead animals hanging on the wall while youre eating was, in my opinion , a bit disconcerting. Its in a great local, though!

Great food, I had their 1/2 pound hamburger with cheddar and bacon. They also have buffalo and ostrich burgers too! I highly recommend the bluebird cafe if you are passing through Hopland looking for a bite to eat.

Favorite lunch spot in the USA. After many road trips across the country I must admit this restaurant serves amazing dishes consistently. Same chef for a long time and the man cooks with love. FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!!

This is tucked in Hopland and is a cabin style restaurant with good coffee, sausages that will melt in your mouth, and pancakes that are killer good. Actually their breakfast menu is all good.
