This is probably one of the best restaurant in Hayward, hands down. Its a hole in the wall restaurant, so dont expect fancy tables and chairs. In fact, theres only 2 tables and a few chairs last time I went there. The food is just plain awesome. Its a one woman show, an auntie that does everything. You dont get a menu. Basically you just tell her how many people will consume the food, and she will take care of the rest. The menu changes every day, and every time I went there, its always delicious. Beware, some food can be pretty spicy for US standard (which I loved!). Its not ordinary Indian dishes as well as it has some Fiji fusion. Let me put it this way. Theres someone that drove from Sacramento just to get a taste of Curry Corner. That must say something.

The food is actually deserving of 4 stars. However this poor woman (Sarah) cooks in very small batch and never sought to become a Yelp superstar and have a ton of people demanding her cooking. She closes everyday after she is finished with her meals for the day and the demand is driving this single cook/owner/server completely mad with the demands. People need to forget about her restaurant so I can be one of the few who enjoys her amazing cooking like it was in the days before I had to wake up at the crack of dawn to have a shot as eating her spicy and amazing goat and curried snapper.

I had called this restuarant a few times to find out their menu. The lady hang up on me and then I called again, she did it again. WHAT A WAY TO SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS? She was just out right rude when I spoke to her over the phone. So I thought I go out there one day to pick up some food. Knowing their business hours, they were closed even though it said clearly we are open at such and such days and times. I gave up on this restuarant afterwards. Not worth spending your time and money on this one.

For those of us fortunate to have experienced her food would know that She cooks for the love of her cuisine and the love of people. As a professional restauranteur... she is not. If she were, she would be charging 5 times more for her food and we would have to deal with the trouble of getting over booked due to people making reservations. All of her efforts go to making what many deem as the best meal in the east bay. Check it out. Be patient. Tip well. Thank me later.

Advice : Call in to know the daya menu/ special! She changes the menu every day, so its best to call in to see what she is serving ! We didnt know what to order. We asked her to give us the popular items ! The meal was good . I would describe the meal more in details but I dont know the things she put in my Togo box. The rice was good as well as the spices in the sauces ! Awesome and sweet lady too! She serves a generous amount of food too!

Get it while its here! The building has been condemned and apparently sold. The food was delicious. It was the first time I had Fijian food. The flavor profiles were similiar somewhat to Indian food which makes sense given the history. I heard they will be hanging on and open as long as they will let her stay open. If you like spice, this.is where its at.

I hear shes closing up the restaurant since the dilapidated plaza is going to get torn down and remodeled. She will still be teaching cooking lessons (which earns more money), when asked about how to sign up, she said "someone on yelp wrote about that". Ill try to come here much as possible before she closes. Its one of our favorite things about Hayward.

Even though this place is small the taste of the food is huge. There is no one who can make better curry than the owner Saras Rao.The fish is mind blowing and so is the lamb.Vegetarian dishes are great too.If you want a very fancy restaurant this is not the place for you. This place is mostly a take away with the best Indian food.Period.

The Lady (cook) reminds me of my Mom because she dont have a menu and what ever she cooks you will eat because you know it is going to be DELICIOUS! I just wish her restaurant would be closer to my work, I would probably eat her food ever day. A+

Best Fiji fish Ive had outside of Fiji. Saras is a hard worker and her food never fails to amaze me. Come here if you want delicious food. Make sure to call in advance though, because Saras is usually busy with the demand for her food.

Saras Rao is the owner/operator she is like a unicorn in a food desert ~lol~ Seriously there is not much great cuisine in this area and she is a standout! I really love everything she makes, how often do you get to have authentic fijian?!

Absolutely solid! Definitely the best place to eat a healthy plate in the area. As if I was being served a home cooked Indian meal from my Punjabi neighbor from childhood. The owner is an absolute doll, feeds you like mommy.

Best food in south Hayward, probably one of the best east bay to go eateries. Dont ask for a menu, there isnt one. It changes twice daily. Just Get a to go box of whats offered its always great.

Very good value, though the location is a bit out of the way. The curry and rice have a distinctive flavor, and a nice medium level of spicyness.
