Convenience store, which Id come to more but Im made to feel awkward when ever I stop in. Im not Armenian, so I barely get a smile, but the Armenian customers get that and conversation. They arent rude, but I dont exactly feel welcome :-( They have a lot of exotic ingredients which is nice since I like to cook. The "old fashion" deli looks tasty. There is another thing: the name is old fashion deli. The name implies I can buy a 1970s art smock or perhaps a pair of glasses from the 1950s. It should read old FASHIONED deli. One refers to clothing the other refers to a way of making something.

My wife and I have enjoyed dining at Old Fashion Deli & Market twice, both about a year apart. We visit Portland a time or two a year.Both visits were wonderful. Excellent freshly prepared food, and great service. Prices are not cheap, but very fair for quality. On both visits we took home our next meal or two from the wide variety of take home items.Yummy!

Large selection of pre-made salads, dips, pastry plus nice cuts of steaks and lamb chops. Fresh seasonal green grocery items at gentle prices. Deli selection of olives, cold cuts, cheeses and feta too. Nice staff always ready to help and give you cooking tips too.

One of the best ethnic grocery stores in Glendale. Quality is very high and you can find everything you need. Their selection of prepared food is great!
