We heard so much about this place that we decided to give it a try. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich and my wife ordered the Veggie Sandwich. We took them to a nearby park to eat them and boy, were we surprised. My wifes veggie sandwich hardly had any vegetables. It only had a few tomatoes, pickles, cheese, onions and some lettuce. The surprising factor was the avocado spread. This means NO AVOCADOS just some smearing of it like butter and not even across the whole sandwich. Plus, she got sick from it! My Hot BBQ Chicken Sandwich was just a mess. Everything began to fall apart before I could finish it. The sauce wasnt that great and I got sick too! I will not return to this place. SubWay beats this place hands down!!! There are to many workers making sandwiches who dont know what theyre doing. Instead of working and finding out what the customer needs in their sandwich...etc., they would just joke around and have a good time while other people are waiting to be served. This was very unprofessional. Again, I will not return!!!!!

So what if its messy. I been eating these sandwiches for the last 20 with my family. I started off with my favorite the barbecue chicken breast... My favorite now is the belly BUSTER with roasted pork and beef brisket. Whoever dont like this place can kiss my round ass twice. The owners are very nice and if you are complaining about the ATM, take your lazy ass to the bank so you dont have to worry about the 2 or three dollars for the ATM fee. I travel from LA to San Pedro just to get a sandwich. Probably been there at least about over 100 times since 1994. Will always LuV busy bee. Since then I only ate subway twice and thats for the tuna sandwich. LuV you guys. Thanks for making good comfort food

Ive been going to Busy Bee for 20 years. The last year they have really gone down hill. The servers will often give you less meat then someone else next to you, depending on if they know/like you. You dont even get a whole 2 piece chicken breast anymore. Theyve raised their prices and decreased their portion sizes. Im tired of the hit-or-miss sandwiches, the long lines, and the cliquey attitude of the servers. Top it off with their new rip-off ATM that limits withdrawals to $40 with a 3 dollar surcharge (if you select more it will "error"), and Im done with this place. Its almost 2017, get a credit card machine.

The legendary Busy Bee Market is still the best sandwich shop in the South Bay. Huge torpedo style sandwiches stuffed with hot meats sliced to order and cooked in respective broth right in front on you, not in a microwave, prepackaged plastic pocket. Cold cuts right off its source and placed on a fresh roll of bread, seasoned and dressed as you like. Great selection of side items and drink options at the store. Long lines but the staff is cracker jack fast while still being able to personalize your order. The perfect grab and go when you visit the local shoreline.

This is a slice of heaven, for me,that I find myself getting upset when someone else would mention it. I have lived within minutes of it for 6months and cursed myself for not remembering that it was indeed a mere 8 minute drive away. You dont think I will get sick of it do you ? Ha,no way thats going to happen! Now if I buy it for my own self I will never have to worry about them running out of the wonderful sausages they put in their one sandwich. Nah, I will be just a better customer now that I live so close. I think Im obsessing with this, better go now..

Ok Im an honest person and I review only with honesty. I live right around the corner from Busy Bees. Ive eaten many-a-sandwich, and this places tag line mantra is that they have the "best sandwiches in town!" Thats written in huge letters on their building. And when I describe to friends that know Pedro where I live, they all say with joy "ah near Busy Bees!!" If this place has the best sandwiches in town, poor San Pedro doesnt have much to offer in the sandwich realm. I like Subway by far better, and much much cheaper!

If youre ever in the area for any reason, you have to come here. This place is a local hotspot. If you think this place is a convenient store, thats because it is. But its not one youre used to. It also has a deli inside of it! Theres usually a line out the door, but the wait is worth it. At the end of the line, youll see a plethora of meats and sandwiches to choose from. I would recommend the Belly Buster. Just dont take the name for granted.

My uncle told me about this place a while back but never had the chance to check it out because it always too far. But man when I finally did I Couldnt believe how good the sandwich was. I got the meatball and Chicken...Called the BELLY BUSTER!...pickup some chips and a drink..total will be around 10 bucks.. BTW, after you get your food head south to Point Fermin Park and eat your food there!!!! Excellent view and chill park...420 friendly...

A local favorite and a gem of a sandwich spot. Some of the best sandwiches youll get in the city and run by a super nice family. I dont go nearly as much as I used to as Im not in the area as much anymore. But, if its a nice day out, theres nothing better than grabbing a BBQ chicken sandwich from Busy Bee, and eating it at the Korean Bell while taking in some sunshine and beautiful views of the ocean.

Best sandwich place in the Harbor Area hands down. Ive been coming here since i was a kid and customer service and food quality has always stayed consistent. If you love a huge fresh sandwich fixed the way youd like it then Busy Bees is the place to be. (During Lunch you might be waiting a while longer for your sandwich but if your in a rush they have ready made hoagies that are excellent)

If you are ever in San Pedro, CA, make a stop at Busy Bee Market! I didnt know what to expect when I first got there but I do have to agree with their sign that they have "the best sandwiches in town." I love my meals hot so naturally I selected an item off of their "hot sandwiches" list, the meatball w/ cheese. A little messy as expected of a meatball sandwich but very worth the mess. YUM!
