Bean Scene Café is an excellent place to go if you want to study and relax. They offer nice comfy couches, soft relaxing music, and have great food items. The atmosphere is very relaxed and having a conversation is bearable unlike some places where you have to speak over the music or people. The food is very delicious and they put care into it, however, it is a little on the pricey side at around $7.00 before tax for a sandwich and a side. Not too bad for a deli, but it could be a bit cheaper. They have a "happy hour" between 3-5PM where you can get a cup of tea/coffee and a pastry for $3.00 which is a marvelous deal. The only thing that may bother you about the place are the flies. I know Bean Scene cant entirely control if a fly comes in or not, but they leave the backdoor open which is near the bathroom and as soon as you walk in youre greeted with a handful of flies buzzing around. When youre sitting down at a table you may get a good workout by batting your hands around trying to shoo the flies away. Other than that, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to study or have a delicious cup of hot mocha.

The owners should take a look at what it means to make an espresso. Try searching for espresso instruction ... What was served at bean scene was a burnt, overly drawn cup of bad coffee through the espresso machine. The burnt oil in a tractor engine would probably taste better. And as for the food ... Plastic American cheese on eggs. Seriously? Have some respect for your clients and serve them real food using real ingredients.

Nice place. WIFI works well, with lots of places to sit. There is even outside seating. They do breakfast, lunch and lots of different bites. Coffee was good and not overpriced. A nice place to go have breakfast and conversation with a friend or even a cup of coffee and quietly get some computer work done.

I went to the Bean Scene Cafe and got the Honeydew Bubble Tea and the Princess Cake.The Bubble Tea was way too sweet and the bobas were too hard.The Princess Cakes frosting tasted like medicine and so did the cake.Overall, my experience at the MEAN Scene Cafe was NOT a good one.:/

I got the Gritty Kitty, which is amazing, and they also serve a limited selection of boba drinks, but the drinks are really good. The boba teas are actually teas, not dry powder stuff you get from places like Jazen. The flavors are great and the cafe is a good place to hangout.

So I found this place on accident and Im glad I did. Im not from the area but I work In Fremont. I love finding coffee shops like this one. Deff will be going back. White mocha freeze! So good! Staff was really friendly also. :)
