Had a great lunch here today. I had the chicken gyro, he had lamb. Super good. It took a little while, but thats because they cook the food to order. The open kitchen is clean. The place is well kept. There are no dusty knick knacks. The Turkish coffee is brilliant. Prices are very reasonable. And they serve beer! If youre going for lunch, get there kinda early. The crowd really picks up at noon. OK, two years later 2/15/2017 and this is still one of my favorite places to eat on the Fremont area. Today had the lamb souvlaki plate. Uhghhhgfhhhhgdmmbd. So good. I was not a fan of lamb until this place. Now I buy it at the shops and cook it for my family. This place has it hands down, though. Eat here. That dude who says his did was bad (rotting) may have either had a super bad skewer, or is a fake review. Ive been here MANY TIMES and have never gotten any meats which taste/smell/are bad or rotting. And I am one of those people who smells and tastes nasty business. Never had it here. Always been fabulous.

Ive been going to Zorbas for 4+ years and I eat there at least twice a week while at work. Obviously the best and signature dish is the Chicken Souvlaki, but the lamb plates are just as awesome. Key points for me: Awesome beer Great salads you can easily customize (I usually get the Chicken or Lamb Caesar or the Greek Chicken Salad; then I request to have the meat warmed up and supplement pita bread for the garlic bread) Very friendly staff Fast service (Even during the lunch rush) and it only gets better and better over the years, theyve improved on how things are made, prepared and served. Now I just wish they had a location near San Jose!

My husband and I go here most Sundays for lunch; my favorite is the Portabella panini with luscious portabella mushrooms, grilled, with spinach, Monterey Jack cheese, and pesto sauce: YUM! He likes the traditional gyro in pita bread, one of the better ones around the South/East Bay. We typically split a Greek side salad on lettuce. Ive had several of the other sandwiches (Brie and artichoke w/ turkey) and friends weve taken there have had the grilled veggie version. All good. Screens have different sports stuff on them typically, but not loud, often on closed captions. We love the place and keep coming back. Check it out!

We got there at 8:30 PM, half an hour before they closed but they were cool about it and did not bug us to leave. I got the lamb gyro, my wife a tabooleh and soup, my kids a chicken shwarema sandwich and chicken tenders. The food was bland at best. My wife did not finish her food. My kids, punks as they are, did not take more than 2 bits of food This after driving 450 miles in 7 hours straight with only 2 gas breaks, so we were starving. On top of it all the food gave me heart burn all night. At least they let us change the TV chanel and we got to watch Lost while not enjoying our food.

Ive lost count of how many times Ive eaten an late lunch at Zorbas. They have a great selection of Mediterranean food although I usually get the Greek salad with lamb. Ive dined there with dozens of other people and never heard any complaints. They also usually have a few guest beers on draught and the guys serving are always good for some interesting conversation. You can also get some non-Greek options if thats not your thing e.g a burger and fries. There is no table service - after ordering you get a buzzer and the food will be ready pretty quickly, they dont hang about.

Zorbas was my goto lunch spot for more than a decade. It was convenient, had a great selection and was always tasty. I have been out of the area for 5 years or so, and havent had many opportunities to visit, until recently. Now I am working in Fremont again, and Zorbas is quickly resuming its role in fulfilling my weekly lunch needs. Even though I eat mainly vegetarian these days, Zorbas still has plenty to offer. I generally opt for the Mediterranean Plate, but its nice to have quite a few veggie options to choose from.

Yum yum yum. Great place to get your tummy satisfied. Lots of great selections and its a little daunting for the first timers, since there are so many choices to choose from. Dont fret though, since the staff there are very helpful and recommendations are superb.

While its not the greatest food wise, its fine. It is however, one of the few places where I can get healthy food options. Most places serve up mostly fried foods or just stuff that will give you a slow death. Bonus to this place for taking online orders right.

If you know Mediterranean food then please dont go there. The food is rotten! Please skip this place if you care for your health. We were served the kebobs that were rotten! This place needs to be inspected or closed down!

A huge selection of delicious food. Great sandwiches and Greek plates especially. Big salads, burgers, baklava, and brie Paninis to list a few excellent grabs. Gets very busy around lunch but they move the meals fast.

Tastes good, but it aint inexpensive. Not so friendly during lunch rush. Gentleman at the checkout seemed to just want to be somewhere else. Not so sure if therell be a next time for this customer.

The food was really good, I had the lamb kebobs, they were decent. The Adana plate was really flavorful, and the baklava was amazing. Over all great experience, and will definitely go back.

Really good sandwiches, falafels and gyros. Its never packed, mainly to its location, but the good is really good. Very spacious and lots of windows giving the feel of being outside.

Very good food. Though the atmosphere could be improved. In particular, I wish they would serve the food to your table rather than buzz you to come to the counter.

Ive been getting their bacon double burger and waffle fries for the last 20÷ years. They closed their Hayward restaurant but I work at Tesla so its convenient.

The wait was long but the food was delicious. Will be phoning in my order next time. The Greek Burger wasnt really a burger, it was more like a sandwitch.

Lamb gyro had a muddy taste to it, fries were good but the lamb taste killed my appetite.
