Because of my experience here, I will NEVER support this brewery again. Why support this one when there are other local breweries who make better beer and arent run by a complete drunk. This experience happened at least six months ago, but my loathing has only grown stronger for this company. It took us around FOURTY FIVE MINUTES TO GET WATER. It wasnt a simple case of it being busy- it was because our WAITRESS HAD A MENTAL BREAKDOWN and was crying in the back. (we are nice people, seriously, it was NOTHING we did to make her cry- it was her simply being overwhelmed. it takes a lot for someone like me to come here and write this negative review.) Thats cool I guess but come on cant you at least let one of your other staff members know that you just cant? So eventually we get our drinks, then its a long wait for our food which was mediocre at best. Since we waited almost an hour to get any sort of service we felt like we should have been compensated, I mean, is it that ridiculous to compensate us for the WORST SERVICE weve ever had??? The owner comes out and is CLEARLY drunk, goes on to ask us over and over if we enjoyed our food- uhh yeah sure it was fine but that doesnt justify all the service that we got. We had some friends from out of town that were there too, and it really just was a poor experience all around. So when we admit that we didnt hate our food, the owner seems to have declared a victory! She proceeds to give us free drink tokens even after we stated that that was not a satisfactory solution for us. I wish I could accurately portray how much of a headache it was dealing with this owner. What an embarassment for the face of the company. Because of this experience I have never returned to the brewery, I have told many people to avoid this place like the plague. I have also never ordered one of their beers at any bar, or purchased any from a store. Go home Six Rivers brewery, youre drunk.

This is the 2nd time weve eaten there & WONT go back...once was a mishap twice is a no go... From the slow, poor service from a server who had a slight attitude to the horribly over priced food...NEVER AGAIN! The presentation is great BUT then you eat it! The sampler platter is nothing more then Sysco frozen crap thats over cooked & dried out...the famous fried chicken for 18 bucks is nothing more then a double fried greasy chicken cutlet which was served with COLD mashed potatoes & COLD veggies. The $19 seared ahi Poki plate was nothing more than an overly seared pre-frozen piece of ahi which was served with overly salted terriyaki sauce and wilted veggies (i think they were previously frozen too)...try to get water to wash it down...ha! The check was given to us with out asking for dessert or was anything ok with an "Ill grab it in a minute and get you change" I guess they dont want you to return but hey thats ok by me. Im not going back...ever!

Booo... I dont know what I was smoking when I thought I remembered this place having good reviews of the food, but it was crap. I tried a couple of their beers and liked them, but we were not happy to have wasted part of our "dining out" budget here. Not only did we not like the food, but we had to wait several minutes for a host to arrive to seat us. Ends up he was in the bathroom, which is right there for everyone at the entry to see. He didnt even apologize for not being there, and before he arrived Id asked the bartender if we were supposed to seat ourselves after waiting for a bit, and he somewhat rudely said someone would be there to seat us. The place was NOT busy, so it shouldnt take five or so minutes just to get seated. Oh, and because Im an interior designer, also because Im an interior designer from San Diego, where there are some amazing breweries, I expected more than a not-attractive sports bar atmosphere.

First off three beers on the board were tapped out by dinner time at 6:30. Furthermore, two of the dinner specials were out of stock by 7:00. We ordered a pizza and were told that there was a backlog in the kitchen for baking pizzas. More than an hour after placing our order and waiting to get our meal, the pizza finally arrived and was burnt on the crust which seems antithetical to being backlogged on baking. The pizza was also missing all but two pieces of bacon on what was supposed to be a bacon pizza. We complained to the manager and were even free drink tokens but were denied being compensated on bill which would have been preferable considering they were missing beers and we were traveling from out of town. The only saving grace was our server was patient, kind and apologetic. I was a fan of Six Rivers Brewing before this event, but now I will have to reconsider patronizing this business.

On a business trip I was looking for a local, unique place to grab some dinner. I was referred to Six Rivers by some clients. I had a simple dinner of wings and a beer. The server aloud me to try about a shot glass of a couple of beers before I ordered, which I appreciated. I ordered a newer beer they had just brewed and it was average. It was nothing special, but it was a good beer. The wings on the other hand were not my favorite. I didnt hate them, but the flavor I picked was not what I was hoping for. I think next time I would get something more traditional. But, overall, the service was great, the prices were a little high, and the beer was decent. If I am ever back in town, I would stop by again and try another brew.

This is prime Mckinleyville real estate with sweeping ocean views and a full parking lot that could fool anyone into thinking that its the place to be, but beware. The service is snotty and entitled, the food is frequently burnt and generally lack luster with prices that will make one wonder if they have teleported to Beverly Hills. The drink prices are far too high to make it a weekly watering hole and it is sooo loud you cant hear yourself think nor could one hope to get a bartender or server to stop chit chatting with their co-workers long enough to get the check and lefave Tried the place twice and both times were awful. Spend your money elsewhere, at least with a management team that understands what customer service is.

Take it from a local, this place has its good nights, however more often it has bad nights. The wings are good, if they are fried enough so that the skin has some crunch. However most of the time they are soggy. The tri-tip was awful, I dont know why they dont offer a better cut of meat for quick grilling. The tri-tip is tough even when ordered at medium rare. Another person in my party ordered the chicken parm sandwich, the chicken was burnt to a crisp. Who is working this fryer? While the last meal I had here was nothing to post a picture of, I have had good nights there. Its a standard brewery, which I enjoy. Unfortunately, the good nights keep you going back, but the bad nights break your heart every time.
