The fish is very flakey and not as oily as others. The hush puppies and mushrooms are also very good. I mostly get take out. I recommend calling ahead. It is painful to sit hungrily as order after order is handed over in front of you. Since they are not just sitting on a bunch of fried fish, it takes a few minutes to make it. This is a plus. Its clean too... not at all sticky. It always smells good. Thats also a plus.

Definitely a language barrier with the staff. Place was not very clean and smell was definitely off. I decided to give it a chance anyway... bad decision! Food was cooked in what tasted like months old oil, it was over cooked, and just not good at all. I ask for a refund and was looked at like I was trying to rob the place.... I just walked out.

Its not like Londons fish and chips, but its still pretty damn good. Its run by a husband and wife, and while its not the prettiest place to sit and eat, its alright. Some people find the husband to be a little "off" or even "mean", but in each of my visits he wasnt all that bad. Give this place a shot and try out their goodies.

While the food is good the owners/workers of the restaurant are rude. They do not want to give many packets of vinegar with a meal for a family. They also fill the small condiment containers for tarter sauce halfway full. After they were disrespectful and rude in their customer service I do not recommend this place.

As stated in another comment, sauces are limited, but for an additional fee you can get extra. Most menu is fresh and prepared daily. Great fish! I just buy fish and prepare other sides at home. Call ahead to order and pick up saves wait time on togo orders. Keep a menu in glove box.

Fish and chips were served hot and quickly to my table. Light breading on a decent portion of Pollock. The server, young guy who was pleasant brought the catsup and tartar with my order. Good malt vinagar on table. I will return. Prices are fair also.

My wife loves this place. She was disappointed by the fish and chips she got two months ago in London. She found this place on a quick lunch break after we returned and cant wait to take me.

Superior quality food. Very friendly staff. They are very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Being Catholic, this is also a great place to do lunch during Lent.
