I was just thinking of coming back here and giving this place another shot. I am meeting up with an old high school friend and this place instantly popped into my mind because of the atmosphere. However, I read a review written by a Hispanic woman who did not have as wonderful an evening as other reviewers on here and, instantly, I flashed back to my initial visit here. Why? Well I am a Hispanic male and and I did not have a wonderful visit either, but my friends did and they are not Hispanic. We went to see a local Sacramento band play here one night after we had our own rehearsal. I ordered the mushroom appetizer. I forget the name, but it is the only one on the menu. After the waitress took my order, I waited for my appetizer and my beer and she seemed to have forgotten all about me. My friends received their beers and she didnt bring mine despite having ordered the same exact beverage as my friend. Once I got my appetizer it tasted a little odd. I was hungry so I didnt notice at first, but all the mushrooms were burnt. My friends and the wife of my one of the band players tasted it after my comment on it and they said it must have been scraped from the bottom of the pan and that I should complain. By this time I was not impressed by the service or the food, but decided to cut the place a break. Maybe the waitress had a long day, maybe the chef did. Either way, my friends were having a great time and I didnt want to be a damper. I was just thinking of coming back here and giving this place another shot. I dont see myself ever coming here again.

We had driven by countless times but finally went in last week on Thursday to eat dinner. WHAT A GEM WE HAVE IN ELK GROVE. There is a separate room for dining in the back. It is very nice and roomy. No tight squeezing in here. Our server, Nga, was wonderful. The soup and salad is served "family style" like at Olive Garden you get a big bowl of each and share it. My salmon was glazed in a remarkable teriyaki glaze with red potatoes and broccoli. The salmon was dinner again 2 days later cause it was a huge portion not just a little steak. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had the most pleasant and relaxing lunch. I had their Crab and Shrimp Ravioli with the creamy pepper tomato sauce. Amazing and wonderful dish. My husband ordered their cheese burger and it was to die for. Fries were not greasy simply perfect and the burger was one of the best burgers we ever had. My highest compliments to the Chef. Will most certainly be going back again and again.

food was horrable, service was good, atmosphere was ok, value low. I ordered the mushroom ravaoli with a salad. the salad and bread were good but the ravaoli was gritty like the mushrooms had not been washed, I kept getting crunchy sand in my mouth. I told the waitress and she was wonderful but the cook tried to argue with me about it. I know what I was feeling and ravaoli is not supposed to be gritty.

this place was really good. I ordered the chicken marsala and it was just delicious, i really enjoyed it. Nice bar too, friendly staff, Beautiful building. I love when someone renovates an old building that was sitting empty and bring it back to life again. The building is beautiful, they did a great job restoring it. I definitely recommend this place.

We went on a Sunday and they only serve brunch, which we were not aware of, but it was a strange menu, very limited and we had people in our party who ordered nothing because there was on the menu that they liked. The food was not very good. We had a party of 10 and only 3 liked their meal. Not a good choice for a place to eat on Sunday.

Good burger but not worth 14 dollars (before tip) when you dont get fries with it. Instead you get burnt home made potatoes chips. Place is nice tho and the people working there are genuinely nice. Not phoney smile type. I may come back. Might have to try their pasta. But the prices might keep me from doing it any time soon.

This is my favorite restaurant! I have been here several times and the food is always excellent. Their staff is great as well. My favorite place to sit is in the bar. It is very social and everyone seems to know each other. This is definitely the "Cheers" of Elk Grove!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun and inexpensive experience. Got there at Happy Hour and ordered everything on the appetizer menu. Would not order the Artichokes or potatoes again everything else was wonderful, especially the coconut shrimp and the cheese and meat dish. Will go back for Sure! The Claytons

Located in old town they have good food and live music on the weekends. They specialize in Italian but they also have burgers and steaks. Their shrimp scampi is very good but their lasagna leaves a lot to be desired, too much cheese and not enough noodles.

Not greeted or seated. I was there during lunch between 1 and 2 pm. I stood at the podium for a few minutes and no one showed up. I sat down and waited a minute on the bench. I saw a young woman cleaning tables in the area behind the podium.
