DO NOT GO HERE!! After reading the previous reviews, I decided to take a chance on this place. To my disappointment the reviews were untrue. The food is really, really bad!!. I had a glass of juice of arrayan, and it tasted like if someone gave me water flavored with arrayan. The sopa de pata was : greasy, tasteless and had a burned after taste, like it wad been reheated for days. And to top it all i had a bite of a pupusa de chicharron and the filling tasted nothing like chicharron. This is the worts salvadorian restaurant I ever eaten .

My favorite burrito in the whole wide world and as a Mexican I have had a lot of burritos. This is the best lunch spot. Service here may be slow for a lunch meal but the staff are friendly and its family run. You can taste the love. I get the Nica burrito which has casamiento (rice and beans cooked together) and I get it with chicken which they pan fry it to make it crispy, crunchy like cracklin. Such a great place. I would have them cater my wedding if I could.

Place is not great for big parties - Bigger than 5. Not only did it take a while to get drinks for the table, but getting food was plan comical. At one point waitress become overwhelmed and start snapping a guests. When I inquired about my pregnant wifes food after the entire table had received their plates, the waitress responded "I am not the cook". Very disappointed

Myself & my mother have been coming to them since they first started years ago. We have always appreciated there courteous and kind manners. As well as the delicious meals that they have blended between the El Salvadorian & Mexican dishes. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a calm environment and awesome dishes.

Only the food: 4-5 stars. I especially like the salads. Service: very pleasant but quite slow, so maybe 3-4 stars. Ambiance: if the TV is turned on it ruins an otherwise peaceful setting: 1-2 stars, otherwise its very sunny and nice, so 4 stars in that case.

Even though I no longer reside in the area, I make it a must to dine at Kaliente whenever Im anywhere in the vicinity. Their food is great tasting and very reasonably priced. In all my years Ive never been disappointed and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Its a nice little place, not crowded. The chicken sandwich is my fav. but a bit greasy the last time I went. Havent tried anything else yet but other then that its a nice place to get a bite to eat for lunch.

Very friendly atmosphere. TVs for games. (Sports) or they may even change it to what you want to watch. Good food clean establishment. Service is great. They serve wine and beer. And have a kids menu.

Best place to have a family Sunday Brunch. Plus just right for your budget. Excellent service must go here on Sunday it could be after Sunday Mass or just a late Sunday Brunch to meet with friends...
