If you dont know what a Papusa is youre missing out. The best way to describe it is a stuffed thick tortilla, but the dough is slightly chewy. Theres different things you can have stuffed in it, meat, cheese, flower, and served with a slaw on the side. I like it with the housemade hot sauce. What I love about this hole in the wall place are the ladies that run it. They make each order when you order it, so its super fresh off the grill.

I really like theyre food I found this place about 5 months ago and Im new to the area the prices are high especially if you want cheese and sour cream on your food. (I believe it like an additional 2-4 bucks) only problem Ive ever had is that a few times they ran out of steak and that was really at the end of the day. Other than that great food and great service! No complaints!

The food or very good. Yeah, its a "dive" looking place. I guess you can say thats what makes it authentic Peruvian place... Certainly not a date night spot. With that being said, good food, not bad prices. It has a home cooked meal feel. The owners and staff and very friendly! A must try if you live here in west Oakland.

I thought this place was great. Really tasty and a good price. I got three papusas with cabbage and salsa for under $9. I thought it was a steal. The place on the inside is rather hole-ish but I kind of like those places. The decor even reminded of Latin America. I will go back there many times.

I use to come here all the time for the super burritos. Something has changed and it real sucks. Theres an infestation of flies. The prices have gone up and a super burrito is really small. I wont be coming back.

Ive only been to it once, and its already my favorite restaurant in the East Bay. Their pupusas are so good, and they have great customer service. I also really like the fresh-squeezed juices they serve.
