We arrived @ 5:00 P.M., restaurant was not busy - more open tables and wait staff than I could count - yet still had to wait way too long to be seated. After sitting down at the table (a booth near the kitchen area) my friend, who was facing that direction, had a view into the kitchen/dishwashing area and could see how dirty it was (food and trash on the floor etc...) - not a pleasant site when trying to enjoy dining. While we were looking at the menus we noticed the table top was very dirty (with God knows what) so we asked our waitress to please wipe it down - she did then she walked away - we were hoping that at that point she would at least take our drink order - but did not. She finally came back and we ordered our drinks. My glass of $12.50 wine came to me with a very dirty, sticky stem. When the food finally arrived, my salmon (their "special" of the evening) was served to me pretty much raw all the way through. The waitress apologized and said she removed the cost from our ticket. When we went to pay the bill we noticed that she did not remove the cost of the salmon - so again we had to wait for her to take care of it. At some point one would think that the manager would have stepped out and apologize for the bad experience - did not see he/she once. In the past, if I have had a not so good experience at restaurant, the manager on duty would come to the table and apologize and ask if there was anything he/she could do to ensure that I revisited. There are far too many places to eat in Town Center, and surrounding areas, for this restaurant to drop the ball. Should probably consider getting it together or plan on going out of business.

1/3/2011, went to bistro 33 in eldorado hills for dinner. first off the waitress was very nice and helpful. that being said, all customers were wearing jackets because it was so cold. when i recieved my kobe beef sliders i took a bite only to discover in my mouth the flat plastic piece that you use at the top of a bread bag after twisting it. seriously. anyways, i showed the waitress and she asked if i wanted new food and i said no. now heres the good part. after i was very quiet about this as to not make a scene in front of the other customers, we recieved the bill. on the bill our food was taken off but we were still charged for 2 coctails. when i asked to speak to the manager......turns out she was the bartender and was to "slammed" to talk to us. the worst service and food i have ever had. i would not recommend bistro 33 to anyone and i hope the manager isnt to "slammed" the next time someone has a problem. maybe "slammed" means drunk, if thats the case then it makes sense.

When I enter the hostess greeted me. I told I would like to sit at the bar, but it was a little full. She remarked that the cocktail tables were also available. I found a table and sat and waited and waited then waited some more. After 15 minutes a spot opened at the bar, I took it thinking I would receive faster service. While I waited I was able to take in the ambience. The female bartender that ignored most patrons, flirting with a few others and making sure SHE HERSELF always had something to drink. The other bartenders did the same. After 25 minutes of not getting a hello or be right with you I left. I dont know who owns this place, but they really need to fire and hire a better staff. The best spots in London, New York and Chicago know how to treat their patrons. El Dorado Hills needs to learn a few things.

Mothers Day Champagne Brunch was, in a word, AWFUL. We arrived at 9AM when the restaurant opened, and were among the first to go through the buffet. The hot food was already cool (nothing worse than cold scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, and bacon), the carving station had neither beef nor a carver, and the breakfast pastries were clearly out of a Hostess box. To make things even worse, my wife found a long black hair in her potatoes. The dessert table had an assortment of grocery store packaged cookies and pastries. We were offered just one mimosa, the taste of which reminded my wife of the orange drink Tang. We will find some where else to spend our money.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Nice location, good selection of drinks and pleasant staff... however... the food is horrid. Ive been there 3 times now, giving them the 3 strikes scenario on food. My last dish was the buffalo chicken salad. Who cant make salad? Well this place cant! There were three small pieces of chicken, about the size of a chicken nugget from McDs. Dry... very dry... either the chicken was microwaved, from the night before, or it was microwaved from two night before... I sent it back, only to wait 45 minutes for 3 freshly cooked chicken nuggets. ... Horrid.

Atmosphere is lovely, our wine was great, however, the food was not priced accordingly to quality. Vegetarian lasagna was flavorless spinach and al dente butternut chunks swimming in oil in a tiny terrine. The side salad was an over portioned fistful of unseasoned spring mix. As for my husbands buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, chic fil A would have been better than the sysco par baked bread and soggy handcut fries. I would say service was okay, but the waitress never asked about the entrees after we had tried them. So much potential, sorry. Save your dollars kids.

We were seated out on the patio, and it was a hot evening and still very delightful. My wife and I both ordered the salmon and it was prepared to perfection, and delivered very hot. I am glad I did not read some of the reviews before we ventured in. The staff was courteous and " on top of things" with prompt service. But just sitting out and enjoying the evening after dinner may have been the best part. We will definitely go back.

View of the lake was great and the servers were nice. Other than that, not so great. Food took forever to make it out and when it did, the cinnamon roll was room temperature (after they said it just came out), and they got another order wrong. Food was flavorless as well. I think it was the cooking staff that made the mistake because the service staff seemed competent. Either way, I dont have a reason to return.

Food is over priced and is not what I would call fine dining. There were flies all over the place, especially at the bar. The glass my drink was served in tasted like soap. Its too bad that we dont have better places in EDH to go and hangout. It has a nice location, but the food is awfull. You would do better to drive down to Sac.

Location is great, and the food is really good (a bit expensive for the portion), but once the staff figures out you are not consuming copious amounts of alcohol, the attention seems to wain. Ive been here many times, and in every case its been the same. I get over it, and jsut enjoy my food and the view (good wines)
