First of all I am hoping that the male owner is not the cook. My mom and I were so disgusted with the owners hand and nails. When I was talking to him and he used his fingers to point things out on the menu I noticed that his fingers looked like a car mechanics fingers with black gunk in his nail beds. I should have left there. The food is too salty, chicken is dry in their dishes, and you pay everything separate. We got two dishes (10 each), plus bowl of rice ($3), garlic nann and regular nann (each about 2 dollars). The dishes are pretty small in size as well. I will not be back.

I stopped by randomly at this place during my visit to California with my kids to visit Disneyland and Universal studio from Texas. I can sum up my experience in these words " this was my best ever desi dining experience in North America ". I never felt that I was in a restaurant rather at a very dear friends place for a special occasion where I was attended personally and served with fresh home made food. Food is awesome and delicious served by great intimacy and courtesy.

Holy moly this place blew my mind!! im so happy Downey finally has a place that prides themselves on fresh ingredients and all the dishes are made with nothing but love! My husband and I went in due to all the amazing reviews. The service was awesome! The owners are wonderful and the chef is so talented! Its amazing!! Im going to say its the BEST Indian food Ive ever had. It was that good. Im going to keep it short and sweet but definitely go check this place out!

We were in LA for visiting Pakistan Embassy and tried this restaurant for dinner. It was one of the best decisions we made while over there. Very welcoming people. Its run by family. The owner showed great customer service. Food was very scrumptious. Very reasonably priced and good portions for the money. Highly recommended if you seek warm welcome and zaiqay-daar desi food as they do justice with their restaurants name Zaiqa Grill!

We ordered chicken biryani, paneer tikka masala, and karahi ghost. All dishes were amazing. We had been waiting for a good Indian place near home and we are than happy to finally have a local place to go to and enjoy. The portions were perfect for sharing at the table. Dont expect to come here and order tiny plates. Food is meant to be shared and enjoyed and this is the place for that. Family style all the way. XD

Man where do I begin. But I gave this restaurant a 5 star all day. From the appetizer to the main course was very good. I enjoy every bit of the food. The owner was very polite and helpful. This has to be the best so far. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Great place. To the owner thank you for and awesome meal my wife and I enjoyed it and will be coming back soon..

Food was excellent! For the price the portions were abundant. Just enough spice in each dish, not overpowering. Family-owned and family-friendly business. Small yet intimate surroundings. Server gave great advice about dishes as it was our first time there. Will definitely come back again and tell my friends about. This place deserves to be recognized as top food eatery.

I no longer have to drive all the way to Artesia or Cerritos for great Indian/Pakistani fare. Not only are they friendly, but the food is absolutely delicious. You can honestly tell that this food is made with love and compassion. The meat is extremely tender, sauces exceptionally flavored, and its filling but not heavy. My new Halal spot forsure!

Had their 3 types of naans and chicken biriyani, all excellent! I couldnt get enough of their intense curries either, the garbanzo bean item (channa) was particularly tasty. Their yogurt and lassis, made by the couple, are refreshing compliments to their dishes. Dinner here was worth the drive to Downey.

I met a college friend here and it was the first time visit for both of us. Each menu question was answered and everyone was EXTREMELY pleasant. The food was so good and fresh that we high-fived the chef (lol). I love bread and thought I would finish a whole naan by myself... Not Even!

The owners are especially helpful, and the food very worth stopping for. Highly recommend the vegetable samosas and naan (thank you, owner!) and do order the mango lassi! Owner was really quite gracious, giving my friend an idea of the foods, when she asked. Family run, come support!

Hands down one of the best Pakistani/Indian restaurants around. Its family-run, really fresh and authentic to the core. The owner is such an nice guy too and very attentative. This location has become my go-to when it craving Desi food, which is more often now thanks to Zaiqa Grill.

Food was good, service was horrible. No one came to check up on us or ask for refills. We waited for 15 minutes to see if anyone would come and check up on us. Just as we were going to leave with cash left on the table, a man arrived. We paid, and are never coming back.

One of the best places for Indian food with some pakistani twist. Amazing hospitality. These guys cook with affection and serve with love. Special mentions : chicken seekh, chole, garlic naan, samosa, kheer and to top it all a true Indian Gulab Jamun.

Very good place to get delicious Indian food. The dishes are pretty solid in terms of flavor and how they are prepared. The owner is a very nice person and is willing to offer suggestions. They have some spicey options of you prefer spicey food.

I was in here last week and got chicken korma, nihari, and samosas, and of course some naans. Everything was great. It was carry out and the portion were big, unlike other places that give you less. Its definitely worth the

Stop in with my Mexican Parents and we LOVED it! Naan is off the charts good. The mix plate was delicious. They helped us order with very kind service and the place is clean. Bring your friends and family. Theyll love it.

This place is delicious. I would have given this place 5 stars but I ordered the shrimp curry and the shrimp were the size of the cup of noodle shrimp smaller than the shrimp salad they sell in the grocery store.
