I am hooked on Taste of India! I am vegetarian --since 2001-- and my favorite dish is the Matter Paneer, sweet peas with homemade cheese, blended in a creamy curry sauce and a side order of veggie rice. I also order a freshly made Garlic Naan, seasoned with coriander and garlic, and delicious, of course. You must also try a Masala Chai tea, freshly made with a mix of Indian spices. For dessert I order a small serving of Rice Pudding, creamy, sweet, and enhanced with cardamom seeds. The service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Learning about Ayurveda, 5,000-year-old Indias holistic health care system, led me to Taste of India and for that I will be forever grateful.

Completely serious when I say this is my favorite Indian food place in Los Angeles. Great food for a good price. The naan is freshly made to order and food is hot. The service is quick, and even though it looks like a quick order joint, once you order your food everything is as if its a restaurant. They are very laid back nice as well.

I went wanting a vegan rice for my he told me yes we a vegetable biryani which says its 9.99 on the menu an internet ancharged me 14.99 for it didnt receive no recipe just was rude to me paid an left rice make me sick to my stomach honestly ive eating Indian food before but honestly thisit aint good place to eat indian
