When I was in college, I used to go to an Indian restaurant off of Brookhurst and it was so amazing! Then I moved to long Beach and I could not for the life of me find even a decent Indian Food restaurant. Ive seen this place a couple of times and told myself, Im gonna try it one day, and Im absolutely Glad I did. This restaurant is Family owned and you can tell by the taste of home you get from the food. The father is the chef; mom daughter and husband help serve the food. The food is incredible, the service is so warm and friendly, it feels like home. I had the Yellow Dal and its so deliciously spicy and fulfilling! My friend had the Karahi Paneer and its was also amazing. I would absolutely positively HIGHLY recommend this place if youre looking for delicious home cooked Indian food at a great price!

These folks used to own a restaurant in Fountain Valley until the end of 2012, but their landlord didnt renew their lease, and weve been hoping they would reopen somewhere. Were so happy to have found them again! Their saag is the best Ive ever had and the Tandoori chicken is always fresh and moist, not dry and tough like Ive had at other places. They also make their own yogurt, and its perfect. All the other reviews you read here are all true. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the value is unmatched. If you live in or near Long Beach, theres no reason to eat Indian food anywhere else.

The food we had was delicious, reasonably priced and the rice was included (was very stoked about the rice). This spot has an old school, non pretentious charm that lacks in the other Indian location on 2nd. Both of the servers that helped us were very attentive and friendly. This place is definitely the Indian restaurant weve needed in Long Beach.

This is a great Indian restaurant. Great flavors. Big menu w excellent options. And friendly service. Make sure u ask for a 10/10 on the spice level of ur a real beast and love that kick that Indian food is known for. Personal favorite = channa masala w garlic naan. Personal favorite part 2 = the buffet is an AMAZING value

Amazing indian food i have tasted around LA. Garlic Naan was good. I only could taste the vegetarian options though. The tomato soup was thick and yumm. The staff was very kind and hospitable. Would totally recommend this.

This was not only our first time eating here but my daughters first time trying Indian food. Everything from the warm smile we were greeted with to the flavors of the food were fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great food! Chicken dopiaza was tasty and flavourful. I think they use MSG though, I was almost instantly drowsy after leaving. I would still go back, but next time have a hotel closer to that area.
