I really enjoy their food specially tandoori chicken and veg. koorma. I read all these bad reviews on the service, it really isnt that bad. Its a mom and pop joint. They are the only cooks thats what makes the food great but yeah if your in a rush then just dont go in go get fast food instead! The owners may be a little ill mannered but its their culture. I was there with husband and 2 year old son and my son wanted to touch the xmas lights that they have there and the owner came and told him something! Its understandable! Then when the food came my son didnt want to sit down anymore and here came the owner and told him to sit down and eat and he would give him a candy bar! The owner meant no harm but came on strong because of the language barrier! I would recommend the food just be patient.

I love Indian food and this place does not disappoint. The food is amazing and the service is even better. All of the staff really care about making your dining experience the best they can possibly make it. I went with a few of my friends and we all ordered different dishes and I was able to try a variety of things off of the menu and was impressed by how good everything was. I promise you will totally enjoy sharing a meal with friends at this great Indian restaurant with a warm and friendly staff!!!!!

The food is excellent, bursting with flavor; some of the best Indian food I have encountered. The staff are extremely friendly and enthusiastic and will make you feel right at home, as well as being very knowledgeable and helpful if you want suggestions. The atmosphere and decor is clean and classy yet relaxed and comfortable. Despite the small area the restaurant occupies, it feels surprisingly spacious. Definitely above and beyond the usual dining experience

We had lunch buffet, the rice pudding was stale and some items are not fresh. Other time, order for moong dosa by phone, took the order and asked us to come after 45 min to pick. When we went, their said the floor is over, but I saw him serving to someone. Worst experience, could not go to a different one since most of the restaurants are closed. I have to take my guest to a McDonald. Need a lot of improvement in service, hospitality and keep the food fresh.

My wife and I just recently moved to Monrovia and found this nice little local joint. The food is amazing and the service is even better. We cant stop taking our friends to this place. The new owners and staff are some of the friendliest people youll meet. They are extremely helpful if you are unfamiliar with Indian food or great at recommending new things if youre tired of the same old dish. Give it a try you wont regret it!

Avoid the restaurant like plague. The ill-mannered and nasty old man does not behave well even with ladies, and speaks as if hes feeding people for free. He insists on seating people on tiny tables even when the bigger tables are vacant.He was unapologetic even when the outraged lady asked him to speak politely. He gets away with his rude behavior because hes in the US. Had he been in India, he would have been bashed up.

This is the worst Indian cuisine I have come across. Ordered for a chicken biriyani and an egg biriyani and what they delivered blew my mind off. By no measure they were even close to the taste of Biriyani but what I hated the most was the overall presentation and freshness of the food. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, stay away from this place.

Been coming here since I first came to LA 2 years ago, and its still my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. The staff are all extremely friendly and the service is great. Its a true authentic family owned Indian restaurant, and it really shows in the quality of the food. If youre looking for some amazing Indian food this is definitely the place to go to.

Great great great food first of all. Me and my family and friends reached there when they were supposed to close but they told us that no problem we will do it and served us great food... whenever I will visit Cali I will for sure visit this place and I would recommend this to others too... really great Indian food... keep it up people

I went here expecting good food and bad service - as many reviews written here may lead you to believe. But my experience eating here was nothing short of pleasant. The old couple that run the place were very nice and kept offering us more rice and naan as we we were running low. I will eat here often.

My family came here for a special occasion dinner (we almost never get to see other, since they are in So Cal and my mom and I are in Portland), and we had an amazing time. My mom and aunt both grew up in India, and they loved the food. All of us enjoyed our dishes and our wonderful waitress, Kamal.

Five stars B/C: 1. Fresh food 2. Great customer service. 3. They severe my fav. Fish curry. 4. Tandoori chicken was fresh. I know coz Im from India. 5. A choice of Perfectly thin rolled plain or garlic bread. Included in the buffets. Enjoy! This is not a a fake review.

The price is great during lunchtime but I could only take in about 3 plates then Im done for. The only meat that taste well would be the chicken curry. I tried the other meat and wasnt too pleased with the later option.

Food is not good. They probably reuse the same food over and over. Thats why the food lacks flavor. The sitting arrangement is pretty bad. Tiny place for a buffet restaurant, not recommend.

Not quite authentic Indian but it still taste ok to me. The samosa, garlic naan, and Chicken Tikka Masala were pretty good. The place was small and not very busy. The service was ok.
