Hoy es cumplíanos de mi hijo pensamos a traerlo aquí seria una buena opción es sábado y no son ni la 12 de medio dia, primero tuvimos que levantarnos a desirles que estábamos listos para ordenar, después la comida llego casi 30 minutos después de ordenar no había tantos consumidores para pensar que estaban ocupados ! Los cosineros, había 3 meseras y 5 meseros delos cuales estuvieron atentos pero super tardados en todo ! Desde una bebida hasta una simple salda ! Pedimos un flan y que le cantarán a mi hijo que cumplía años y nunca llegaron ! Creo que la culpa no es de los meseros sino de el manager ! No hay cordinavion en apsoluto ! No regreso a este lugar !!...... mala elección ....

I get there , typical , 20 min wait . Im understanding of that , knowing its a Friday night . They call me , I go and sit , order my drinks and food , I ask for two plates of Birria . Noticed the mariachi is taking up two tables in the back and theres like only 3 of them , while theres people waiting 20min plus to sit. The waiter brings my dish and gf dish , and leaves , I still said thank you as he walked away . So there I am eating no tortillas , no veggies , no sauce for the birria . It was like if I had ordered a salad , the meat was flavorless , dry , no juice . I stopped eating my food after like 5 minutes , After 10 plus min. of waiting for any acknowledgment , the waiter comes back I asked where my tortillas and veggies , sauce? . He is like oh im sorry blah blah ! The manager comes and says sorry , I lose my appetite . Pay and left . Dont ever go here , its a waste of money , they distract people with the mariachi and beer from the Food. Which is sad. Go to the other La Barca Jalisco that one is at least a 4 star to me .

The experience was bad from the beginning. With the hostess and overpriced food. It all started with them trying to sit us outside and failed to tell us it was really hot in the patio area. We found out after stepping outside and realizing ourselves we asked for a seat inside which we did mention when making reservations to be seated inside. Waited over an hour to be seated. My mom was trying to complain to the waitress about their lack of communication we had to wait longer to be seated. As she was making a complain to one waitress, the other blonde girl next to her said to ignore my mother. Rude. After waiting we finally got seated. Looking at the menu all the food is over priced and I usually do not mind paying 50 for a good steak but the food quality here is really bad. It did not have a good taste nor did it look like quality. I also waited about 30 min to get a refill which was after asking for it myself. Will not be coming here again.

Terrible experience! I had a waiter accidentally drop a large margarita drink on my phone, coach purse, and on my lap which eventually went to my inner thighs and then butt. My husband and i decided to get up and leave and thats when we called the manager. The unprofessional Manager told us that he would let us sit at a different table and thats when we told him that we were soaked with tequila and ice so how would we sit at any table. He got an attitude and aid thats all i could do for you. He even suggested that i got and dry my butt in the womens restroom. He had no sympathy for us, he was just rude. As we walked out of the restaurant, the only person that was sympathetic to our situation was the security guard. He was the one that said he was sorry for what happened. The Manager couldnt even say those words to us, he just said if you want table there it is. I will never go to this disrespectful place again.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR THE HOST ARE RUDE AND UN PROFESSIONAL INSULTING CUSTOMERS MADE US WAIT THREE HOURS AND WE LIVE IN SANTA BARBARRA DROVE ALL THE TO HAVE THEM INSULT US AND TELL US WE HAD TO WAIT FOR AN HOUR THEN ANOTHER HOUR AND SO ON AFTER WAITING FOR THREE HOURS I APPROACHED THE HOST AND SHE SAID YOU CAN WAIT OR YOU CAN LEAVE I WENT TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT HAD AMAZING FOOD BUT FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL NEVER AGAIN COME BACK NOT EVEN FOR A FREE MEAL AND ALL THANKS TO THAT HOST AND THEIR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO SAY IF THEIR IS NO RESERVATIONS AVAILABLE TO JUST SAY THAT FROM THE BEGINNIG BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM THEY WERE ONLY LETTING THE OWNERS FRIENDS AND RELATIVES GO IN BUT IF THATS THE CASE HE SHOULDA OF CLOSED IT DOWN AND MAYBE IT WOULD OF SAVED HIM FROM THIS REVIEW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

El servicio estubo muy mal. No nos tomaron nuestra orden asta 20 min. Despues de que tuvimos que hablar con el manager. Las salsas no tienen sabor, el cafe de olla sabia mas a azucar que a cafe. La verdad no se porque le dan buenos comentarios cuando el lugar no se lo merece. Tal vez nos toco mal dia pero creo que la primera vez si no hubo buena impresion ya no hay segunda oportunidad.

The establishment looks appealing and clean, but the food is Terrible, the drinks, are horrible! It was a horrible experience,.......... Authentic Mexican Food my Ass!!!! It all started on a Wednesday evening, out & about with the fellas. It was a booze fest. Great evening. The following day I called a female companion to accompany me to cure haling " head ". I decided on La Barca since its scenery was appealing ( looks are very deceiving ). Was I wrong about this place. I order a Michelada, it was terrible. I had to drink a few beers ( beers were old.) just get the bad taste out my mouth. The food was bad, I left it. I would not recommend this place nor I would go back.

Esta fue mi primera vez .pero fue debut y despedida.horrible la comida pedi camarones al mojo de ajo parecian de hule ,o cambian cocinero o busquen productos de buena calidad porque los precios estan altos para el servicio que ofrecen. NO LOS RECOMIENDO

Been going there for years!! Fun atmosphere with music and karaoke... Great food and great drinks!!! DOWNSIDE... Bar manager is extremely rude EVERY SINGLE TIME... Never fails to be rude about MAKING guests move from their seats in a "self seating" bar area!! Most waitresses are awesome but this past Friday we had one that was clueless. Tapatio bottle was broken and my food was ruined. When i told her she rolled her eyes and did nothing. Had to talk to a different waitress, who took my plate and brought me a new one!!
