we came into this plaza on a sunday afternoon for another restaurant but ended up here instead because we saw they had $10.99 all you can eat lunch buffet. Now if you have ever been to an indian AYCE buffet, you know that its really not a hell of a lot of variety but we would have spent the same amount else where for just one plate of food anyway, so i figured we might as well give this a try. The restaurant is downstairs, tucked away in the corner of the food court, inside is small, probably about 7-8 tables. though small, there were plenty of diners here on this sunday afternoon. the buffet/hot table looked good and consisted of your normal indian dishes such as white basmati rice, yellow basmati rice, chicken tiki masala, chicken curry, mushroom masala, palak paneer (spinach), tandoori chicken, there were a couple of other vegetable curry dishes which i do not remember the names of. there were two dessert type dishes and a pretty basic (very basic) salad section which i did not try. Regular naan or garlic naan also comes with your buffet. We had the garlic naan, it was freshly toasted, thin and perfect for dipping into all the sauces. i, of course, always load up on protein so i went for all the chicken dishes first and added the vegetables dishes on the side. i enjoyed EVERYTHING i had from this buffet. The ONLY thing i would avoid is the white meat from the tandoori chicken because it was really dry. i went back and got a dark piece and it was MUCH better. the staff was super attentive and got our water and took our dirty plates away quickly. my beau also had a bottle of the Indian beer (pilsner) which he said was too light for him but perfect pairing with the this type of cuisine. if i come back again, i would do the lunch buffet because the price is just right and i can eat as little or as much as my stomach will allow.

Ive been going to this place for maybe about 4 years now. Each time I go, I get a consistently great experience. And each time I go, I bring someone new with me. The food is flavorful, though for the lunch buffet they tone down the spice level because of the white people, but for dinner theyll make something as spicy as you want it. Every time I go, the food is never dry, the flavors are consistent, the staff attends to the table, my soda is always refilled. Ive never had a bad experience here. I give this place 5 stars for service and food, but its important for me to add that this place is meant to be like the home-style version of Indian food, the kind of place where you are fed with recipes passed down from mother to mother. It does not aspire to being a Michelin star restaurant. Its meant to be Indian comfort food, with full-service style. And thats just the way I like it.

I am surprised to see so many positive reviews. Not sure if these are genuine. I went there today for lunch with a friend after reading these reviews. The place is small but neat and clean. But we went there in hope of good food and...oh man, all our hopes were crushed. The food was stale and it seems it was cooked 1 week earlier. The tandoori chicken was so dark red that it seems it was soaked in color. The chicken tikka didnt have any tikka in it and chicken korma was blend. The same thing for other vegetarian items, like palak, kadhi etc. The only thing fresh was garlic naan which they had to cook fresh as you cant store. The Gulab Jamun was sour and looked few weeks old. I had a stomach upset after eating there today. Go there only if you a good health insurance and take risk otherwise this place is not worth.

My husband and I went there last Saturday and the food was A-hhhhhhh-MAZING! The place had great service to go with, the hosts were as polite as can be. And we were suppose to grab burgers then a movie, but as soon as my husband had a bite of that fresh, warm samosa we knew the movie was out of the question. We stayed and had such a great meal, we are going back this weekend. Oh yes the chicken palak is a must have, atleast once.

Went twice for dinner during a business trip. Both times the service was great, the food was delivered quickly, and the food itself was excellent. First time ordered Lamb Vindaloo. Second time had Tandoori Chicken. My business associate had Shrimp Tandoori both times. Everything tasted great. Rice, naan bread, I loved every bite of it. If I lived around here, Id be hitting this place on a weekly basis.

Are rude to the handicapped .. I went there with my autistic son for lunch last Wednesday (actually I was looking for fast food to take out). In the excitement of being at a place with Indian food, my son grabbed a samosa from the buffet section, and sat down at a table without waiting for his turn in the line. The manager rudely asked me to take him out of the restaurant right away!

I ordered chicken biryani togo today. It was an absolute disaster. Taste is nothing like a biryani. Chicken was half cooked , rice is like a paste. No salt no flavor and taste. Quantity is so less packed in a paper box. Cost $14 is absolute waste of money. Pls dont go hear. If someone from management reads this , pls go to some biryani place in pioneer street and compare

love this place!! Went today at lunch and their tikka masala is to die for. the resturant is small and there are few seats but they have fast efficent service which helps keep it not super crowded. Very happy i went to this place, they even said if you call in ahead they will make special dishes for you on the to go menu, so doing this later this month!!!

Food tastes good. Vegetarian combo/thali is good. Also I ordered No Onion Garlic - Shahi Paneer, Tomato Soup, Roti & Paneer Kulcha which was very good. Rotis turned hard after some time although. Items are expensive but I liked the professional management of the female owner/manager. She was very attentive to customers needs & reactions.

Im amazed to see many positive reviews, presumably a staff change within last year or so. While we were ordering, the associate was looking away as I wasnt a customer. Food is not bad, although broccoli was prominent in a vegetable biriyani. If you refrain from excessive fat or in a diet criteria, the food here will make you angry.

Had the lunch buffet recently -- such a slim selection, and all of the sauces (and side sauces/condiments) were so thin. This very small place was packed and difficult to navigate, and service is slip-shod. And, horrible iced tea in a plastic glass for $2.50? Huh? The Japanese place next-door is a much better experience.

The owner is always in and provides friendly and efficient service. The food is delicious and you can create your own dishes by combining the items they have available if what you want is not on the menu! Never a wait time for dinner. They also have a wonderful all you can eat lunch buffet special!!

The food was so-so. For the lunch buffet there were Three chicken items and two veggie items with the usual - gulab jambu, rita, salad, keer. The chicken dishes were ok but tasteless. Most people dont like spicy food - but dont bland it down so much that its tasteless.
