One of my favorite Mexican places in Davis! Its a place where taco Tuesday is every day of the week since theyre only $1.59 and offer several different types of meat. My favorites include the pastor, the pollo, and the carne asada. I usually stay and eat there since they have a salsa bar with usually fresh pico, limes, and other salsas. They also have dinner plates, breakfast, burritos, and other typical Mexican faire. Their meats are solid through and I also like drinking horchata (especially in December).

I was excited to try this place. It had 4 stars and was cheap. I ordered enchiladas with rice and beans. Turns out an enchilada is a quesadilla with tomatoe sauce on it. My boyfriends chili relleno had what tasted like tomatoe soup on it. The pico de Gallo was yummy. The rice tasted like how I make it at home. Oh and to end the evening my horchata had little white pebbles in the bottom and that was my final sip. So disappointed.

I love the ambience here. I could honestly say that its the most Mexican place that I have been to here in Davis. I wish I could say the same for the food however. The tacos are fantastic but everything else lacks a certain authentic taste. There are other places in Davis that have that Mexican feel to the food but this place is pretty decent for the time being.

Awesome, local place to get any Mexican food Ive been coming to for years. I usually get a super burrito carne asada or chicken and its always completely filling. All the other menu items Ive tried have been good. Its hard to beat a beans, rice, and cheese burrito for $4. The free chips and salsa (peep that loaded salsa bar) and always a plus.

Theres almost always a line out the door for a reason, but no need to worry, the line moves fast. Service, flavor, portion size, speed and reasonable prices all combine for me to award this restaurant with a five. Above and beyond all that, free self serve home made chips and home made salsa takes it to six. Go here. Youll be happy.

Being a taco enthusiast from LA, this wasnt even close to what we have down south. Someone needs to teach the cooks how to make asada and al pastor. The carne was burnt to a crisp and the salsas are weak and salty besides the tomatillo sauce. The tacos are edible, so if youre starving... Sure grab yourself some grub.

I use to come here all the time when I went to college. Super affordable, good protions and tasty. I usually get a Super Burrito and it would last me 2 or 3 meals. They come out of the food quickly and the workers are really friendly. Their breakfast selection is good too. Eggs, ham and potatoes in the morning!

Best Mexican food in Davis. Staff are awesome, all the food is excellent. Theyve got great horchata. Wait is usually pretty short except around 6pm. You can get amazing chips and salsa with every order. And theyve always got soccer playing on the TV. Recommended for dine in and take out any day of the week.

Food in house is great, but if you are looking for someone to cater an event for you THIS is the place. We hired them to cater both our babies Baptisms and also for our wedding. Rigo is the owner and a very awesome guy, I would never use anyone else but these guys. Food quality and Customer Service 10/10.

A popular place in Davis. Not sure why. Maybe Im ordering the wrong stuff. But since I dont eat beef or pork, my options are limited. I cant say that I wont go there ever again because occasionally, its convenient to stop there and get takeout. They have self-serve chips and salsa.

Very authentic. Nice selection of fresh salsas. I ordered the grilled fish and it surpassed my expectation. Nice open face filet with no bones, rice, whole black beans, and fresh corn tortillas. To drink ... ah yes, choice of tamarindo, melon, or horchata ... free refills. Muy sabrosa !

I really hate leaving bad reviews but not only does the food at this place suck, the service was just plain rude to me. Took me 45 minutes to get two veggie burritos after I had to ask them to check on my order and was told not to be rude.

I found this restaurant after googling Mexican food near Davis. I was very pleased to find something that tastes as good as the Mexican food that I get at home. The staff was very friendly too. I highly recommend it.

The food doesnt really have flavor and the place itself is kind of old and gross looking. If youre hungry and have no where else to go then eat there but otherwise there are a lot better Mexican restaurants.
