Been wanting to try this place for a long time and its nice they stay open late, but wow - was I disappointed in the food and the long wait. Tried the chicken flautas - dried-out chicken meat inside a limp corn tortilla - Not so great. Their beans taste like canned Rosarita beans, which was kind of shocking. Rice was okay, and the salad they put all over the top was actually good - it had tomatoes, avocado, shredded lettuce and crumbled Mexican cheese. The chips were terrible - like they were fried in motor oil. Yuck. It took 20 long minutes to get my order...

Tardan mucho para atender... Y tardan mucho para servir la comida...... Duran 30 minutos para aser un burrito... No les recomiendo este lugar en donde estoy ahorita... Ya llevo 30 minutos y no me ah llegado mi orden que es nomas un pobre burrito....

Ive just moved to Watsonville in the last year and came to the right town because I could be satisfied with eating Mexican food every day. My friend took me to El Pollero and I have now found some of the best traditional Mexican food in Santa Cruz County. The decor is minimal, the jukebox music is way too loud, and its window order. They bring your food to the tables. Its great for a late evening Mexican food run. Very clean and efficient service ! Try this place !

Great place to grab a tasty burrito! Convenient location and plenty of Mexican options to choose from including my faves: tacos (homemade Tortillas) and sopes. Awesome salsa to pair! Dine in or takeout.. Theres even a drive through window if youre in a hurry.

Really good burritos here, its nice to be able to find inexpensive prices for cabeza, tripas and lengua. At times you can end up waiting a while for your food, especially at the drive-thru window. Its really the only reason its not a five star taco joint.

The absolute worst burrito in Califonia. Thats a hard title to earn. Over priced. You will leave feeling ripped off. Might as well go to McDonalds next door or BK across the street. At least then you know youre getting took on the front end.

Trust that if you catch them on a good day, the food is delicious. But its true that the service could use some work. Ive been going to El Pollero for a good 4 years every now and then and they do have their on and off days.

I love this food. Its always really delicious everything tastes homemade to me mean to me. Very good prices. The dine in experience does leave a bit to be desired. But I usually go through the drive-thru.

Late at night there is a lot of drunk guys drinking in the restaurant. Not a good place to eat with your family. Food is gross.
