Chipotle in downtown Davis is similar to most other Chipotle restaurants. Depending on time of day, the line can be out the door or the restaurant might be pretty empty. Luckily, this Chipotle is pretty good at cutting down the line quickly due to their efficient assembly line style when packing up your food. Also, depending on who you get packing up your food, the portions can vary a ton! Ive had workers who packed it to the point you could barely wrap it up and Ive had workers who give you so little that even when you ask for extra rice, it is still barely what you normally get. All in all, this Chipotle gets 3.5 stars, rounded up for cleanliness, efficiency, and generally friendly employees. Wish the food was always warm and portions were more consistent!

Be honest with yourself. Youre not looking at this to decide if its right for you. You know that you are only checking the hours. Its chipotle. You will be getting some combination of cheeses,vegetables, proteins, and sundry other toppings from someone who is polite but cares nothing for you. You will not find a connection. You will not have a moment. You will have a fleeting fullness in your belly, and it will be good for the brief moment before you move on to the next thing and your organic processes require further fuel.

The Chipotle in Davis has the BEST tasting food of ANY Chipotles, and let me tell you, I have been to many Cipotles. In fact, my friend and I go to lunch at the Davis Chipotle practically every day during the week. I also go there on the weekends. The taste is ALWAYS FANTASTIC and you can never get bored of it because you can always change it up by adding or taking away different items. The people who work here are the BEST too. They are always so friendly and fast! I LOVE CHIPOTLE!!! Shelly

I think because Chipotle limits their menu so much, theyre kind of stale. The smell of the place even bores me sometimes. Its not that the food is bad, its not. And the service is always great. Its just...stale. Im tired of the same ol same ol when I come to Chipotle. Id like to shake things up a bit with my food when here. Now when I come in, its only for chips and salsa with a beer. I just cant find it in me to order anything else. Boring.

Worst place to eat in Davis hands down. The food has nothing in the way of spices or flavoring. The price really isnt that cheap either for such mediocre food considering, with guacamole on your burrito(which costs extra), chips, and a drink , you can easily end up spending around $15 per person. Their food is essentially tasteless filer stuffed inside of a tortilla. Not really Mexican food by and means.

I was first hesitant about coming to this place because frankly Im not that big of a fan of places like Chipotle that advertise themselves as a "Mexican" restaurant yet lack some aspects of it that would make it a Mexican restaurant. However, I have to admit that their burritos are actually very good and for what its worth, I would say that its worth the amount of money that you pay for it.

Get the burrito bowl, even if you prefer burritos like I do. Not the best local burritos. Not even the best downtown. 2 stars because it is not the worst burritos, but Ive been there three times and these were consistent problems: Staff didnt seem like they wanted to be there. Tortilla was undercooked and the burrito crumbled. All chipotles lose a star for charging extra for guac.

My burrito was fair, but not as good as Dos Coyotes border burrito. On the bright side: I didnt get sick, so no salmonella (August 2015, Minnesota), norovirus (August 2015, California), nor E. coli O104:H4 (now, 6 states). "Food with integrity"... and more!

I always get a veggie bowl. The workers usually give me a good serving of everything. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The tables could be kept a little cleaner, but overall, this is a good location.
