Blaze is the best custom pizza in town, despite being a SoCal chain. For under $9 you can get a good sized personal pizza with all the toppings you desire. Even better, it takes less than 5 minutes to cook, so its faster than baking at your oven at home for just a few bucks more and no hassle of cleaning! I tried the single topping once and its much more worth it to pay $2 more and all the other toppings. The ingredients are pretty good quality and they have a great selection: I add stuff like ricotta, Italian sausage, chicken, bell peppers, garlic cloves, caramelized onions, tomatoes, spinach, and barbecue sauce drizzle at the end. My only complaint is that the crust sometimes has a lot of burnt pieces, maybe they could remedy this by cleaning the brick oven more often. Otherwise, its up to you to make a delicious pizza. Plus they also do fundraisers- a great way to support student organizations in the Davis community.

Veggie pizza: cucumber, mushroom, onions.. and maybe something else under the big glob of pasta sauce.. meat lovers: pepperoni, sausage.. yes the crust was good. as far as the pizza itself and the item description not matching, idk? what you normally call a veggie pizza youd think mushroom, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, spinach, onions, bell pepper etc.. give or take a few, i mean every veggie pizza is different, but they normally own up to their name. As far as the meat lovers, im sorry but i dont know any meat lover that would satisfy. When i think pizza i think PIZZA (like woodstocks roundtable or pizza guys, big tons of toppings mouth watering.. not a small italian fresh -like carb watching pizza tease. Def will not eat here again if i want to eat when im HUNGRY.

Their regular (wheat crust) pizza is pretty good; Ive tried a couple different ones. Then I had to switch to gluten free. They overcooked the pizza, so it was horrible. An employee went around to all the tables asking how things were, but he kept skipping me. Finally, when everyone around me was gone, he asked how my pizza was. I told him it was overcooked. His response was "next time, let us know so we can remake it." Well, it took forever for the first pizza; I certainly wasnt going to wait around on a crap shoot. One bad pizza out of 3 visits isnt too bad. The place is very popular, so Im sure my 3 star rating will have absolutely no affect, unless youre a gluten-free person.

Today is Tuesday May 23, 2017 Keenan knew I wasnt satisfied with my pizza not being blond lighter color crust. *****Keenan **Other employee. The other male employee that was working along side him was negative and refused to help me and insisted that said its that way because I added basil with pasta sauce. I knew that was a lie so he asked Keenan to remake it and he.did it with grace and pleasure reassured our pizza was just right even came to our table to ask if there was anything else he can do. Hes the best here in Davis!!!

The restaurant has an outside deck and an inside seating area. The pizza crust is light and crispy, not chewy. The toppings are the specialty because you can choose from a long list of items including vegetables and sauces. There are eight suggested toppings but you can add anything to them. I added spinach to a Green Stripe. The wait was short, the pizza was fresh out of the oven.

They dropped my pizza and then messed up the order when remaking it. The employee told me it was my fault my order was made wrong before making it a third time. She was also very unpleasant to a Muslim woman who wanted her order go and an Asian woman who asked for a typing at the last moment. The pizza is very good, but nothing can excuse this level of poor service.

I heard this was thee place to get a great pizza and I must say, I was not led astray. Really good people working there, They acted like I was a VIP and were very helpful explaining how they do things different from other establishments. Im convinced that have a good grasp on making exceptional, tasty pizza. This is the spot for me. Blaze on.

I go here once a week. Its the best pizza in Davis in my opinion and you get the option of adding whatever you want to the pizza they make for you. If you go during dinner hours on a weekend there is always a line, but in off hours its usually easy to get a pizza quickly. The only problem is that I always eat the whole damn thing! So good.

Would have been 1 star but the service was quite stellar. The pizza is really gross. The pineapple comes out of a can, and you can tell. The mozzarella was nice, but the only thing I could really taste was the burnt crust. To reiterate, the staff are really wonderful, but you dont really go to a restaurant for the service.

I love pizza and this is the place to get it if youre ever in Davis! I went for the first time with the family and it was absolutely delicious! We had one of the friendly people there surprise us with their favorite pizza and it was awesome! The vibes are positive and I cant wait to go back!

Customized pizza anyway you want for $8. Ingredients are typically good (sometimes bad pineapple or eh garlic cloves) but overall a great place to eat. 4 stars because efficiency could be improved and wait times are quite long (40 min sometimes) because this place is so popular

Ive loved Blaze since the first time I ever had a pizza from here. I adore that they give you the option to build your own pizza from scratch so its exactly what you want. Every-time Ive been there (which is quite often) the staff have been kind and efficient.

Very similar to Pieology...a build your own pizza place. Different variety of toppings, but overall I prefer Pieology. Really liked the flavored waters they had at Blaze; both the mint and prickly pear were delicious and low calorie!

Pizza and ingredients may not perfect, but the quality surpasses the price. You get to make your pizza any way you like and it is ready almost as fast as pizza by the slice. I am also a fan of the drink choices.

Delicious pizza, but it is not very hygienic as the staff do not change gloves and touch meats and veggies. Not good for individuals with dietary restrictions. They will use a clean cutter if you ask them to.

Very tasty create-your-own pizzas for only $8 plus tax. Cheap, filling, fast, and very good. Plus a neat seating area with three walls where the fourth is open to the outside. Who could ask for more?

Gluten free crust had good flavor and texture. If you do not request a glove change they do not cut the pizza with a gluten free cutter. Be careful of this if you are extremely sensitive.

It was a great thin crust pizza place. I think its a little on the expense side for what you get. They have a nice outdoor dining area, that my friends were able to bring their dog to.
