Ive been going to Cafe Salsa for about six months. Apparently theyve undergone recent ownership change, though Ive not noticed or perhaps it happened before I began eating there. As Cafe Salsa is now, I think its absolutely great. I have never been disappointed with their food, or their prices. Their chips and salsa are the best Ive ever had, and the fajitas quesadilla is to die for. Some of their burritos disagree with my taste, other have taken me to a parallel reality where the sun is always shining, and back. Google doesnt let me take a fifth of a star out, otherwise i would because they forget to include jalapenos INSIDE my burritos/quesadillas about 1 time out of 3 but Im rounding up anyways because Cafe Salsa is love. Cafe Salsa is life.

I am a long time resident of the area and have seen cafe salsa go through alot of changes. It is still good but it is not as good now as it used to be before Rafas changed ownership. The chefs changed and so did the wait staff. It never has recovered since the change of ownership, but the nachos are still the best I have gotten anywhere. The $12 burrito mentioned in an earlier review is a 4 pound burrito and is the biggest one one the menu. The regular ones and the super burritos are about half that price but still pretty big. All in all it is a good value. It just needs to get its customers back

Not having eaten here since it was Rafas, I decided to try a Carne Asada burrito for lunch. Extra spicy. The flavor was excellent as were the chips and really good salsa. However, I may try a different meat next time as the beef was mostly hard gristle....great flavor but couldnt eat it. As it was to go, I cant rate their service, but I was in and out in short order. Thy were fairly busy at 12:30 on a week day. Ill have to try their tacos next time

I ordered and enchilada which tasted fine, and I felt ok after my neal, but my mother ordered a burger patty and fries which has given her terrible food poisoning, shes been up all night and is too weak to stand and can barely suck on ice chips. Her burger was well done and I had some of her fries so something else about her meal affected her.

Healthy portions, quality in the produce and fresh items used, polite attentive service, VERY fairly priced for amount given and time spent there. considering its great location and outside patio it fits right in with downtown Cotati. Been going here a long while and they keep earning my return with every visit.

Great portions and good value. I brought home dinner for tomorrow and feel stuffed. Polite and friendly staff. This isnt gourmet but very tasty and unusual enough to be worth a return trip. Not run of the mill Mexicsn food.

I love the variety. Theyve got all the Mexican food classics you expect, but the burgers are fantastic and they do sandwiches as well. Its also a great breakfast place, too. Best breakfast burrito in Sonoma County!
