Oh me, oh my. I really hoped to have a great breakfast the other day at Devoted Kiss Cafe. About the only good thing that I ate was a cinnamon roll sourced from the Essential Baking Company. My friend had Eggs Benedict and fried potatoes. The potatoes were very, very soggy and more like steamed, flavorless, something or other. I tried desperately to find what was supposed to be fried about them, and needless to say, my friends breakfast was left mostly on the plate...between both of us. Honestly awful and my friend is not even picky about food. The Eggs Benedict was soggy and devoid of any redeeming quality. I searched for the lovely creamy sauce that should have permeated the dish to no avail. It likely did not help that it was on the mildly cold-side. If you want a good breakfast at Devoted Kiss Cafe...I can only suggest their cinnamon roll from the Essential Baking Company. I am very sad and sorry that I felt compelled to even write a review like this because I really, really want to be more supportive of local businesses. But I also want to speak the truth about a bad experience. No, busy is not always a good indicator of good food. If you rely on that as a litmus, you likely are okay with pretty average, or bad food. McDonalds is busy...but ewe.

Nice lunch spot over looking the harbor. The menu at the Devoted Kiss has a hint of a bistro style and has many appetizing unique twists on traditional fare. The service here was friendly, professional and courteous. He arrived after most of the lunch rush around 1:15 and were seated as we entered. We opted to sit inside verses there limited outdoor seating as it was a bit too chilly/breezy. The food was very good. My salad was fresh, crisp and of an adequate size and the price was within a reasonable amount considering the area (you are in a tourist area).

Omg people. Ive been here twice now, first for breakfast a couple weeks ago and just today for lunch. This is officially my favorite restaurant as of now. I thought they may have gotten lucky the first time with fantastic service, good made mamosa (if you catch my drift) and the best corned beefed hash Outside of Ireland, but nope, just had the prime rib sandwich with beer cheese soup and potato salad and AGAIN, one of the best meals Ive ever had. Compliments to the chef(s) and staff. Im excited to try everything else on the menu!!!

NO DIAPER CHANGING TABLE! Had to change my babys diaper on the floor of the bathroom. Otherwise, a mostly delightful dining experience! Food was delicious! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, though a little slow on checking back after food was delivered. Other things they could improve are more comfortable chairs, covering the deck for use on rainy days or for shade on the rare sunny days, and ADD A CHANGING TABLE!

Long wait--30+ min at 10:30am on a weekday, very loud, food was OK. I got the prime rib dip, more of an onion sandwich with a tiny bit of meat, teeny tiny sides, about a tablespoon of potato salad. My friend got the Ruben, about the same quality, the side of hummus was a teaspoon at best and a few pretzel chips from Costco (the whole side was smaller than a sample of the same at Costco)...not impressed, I wont go back

Wife and I absolutely love this place. Always a fresh unique menu, with amazing twists of classic dishes. Most recently had an incredible banana bread French Toast, and the wife had an eggs Benedict with the most well done hollandaise sauce wed ever had. Only problem we have had, is timely service due to their popularity. But who could fault a restaurant for that?

This charming lunch spot was exactly what we were hoping to find on a family visit to Gig Harbor. The staff were friendly and attentive, the menu filled with yummy options, and prices perfectly appropriate for the quality. From the delicious chicken noodle soup to the breakfast burrito, the porkbelly sandwich to the banana bread French toast, everything was great.

I love grabbing brunch here, especially when it is sunny because then you can eat on the balcony that over looks the water. It is usually quite so it is a nice place to relax and catch up with friends. Ive gotten a variety of sandwiches and breakfast items from here and have liked them all. I did wish they had a larger selection of coffee.

Simply FABULOUS! How delightful to sit on the deck and eat a delicious breakfast! I had the pulled pork breakfast burrito, and coupled with the specialty brewed coffee, it was awesome. But let me tell you what was the real reason well always return...the staff. So friendly, so interested in the customers, so full of humor.

I came in just to grab an espresso. The staff person was very responsive to what I wanted, made me feel like my time was valuable, and gave me a great first impression of this cafe. I noticed that its busy and theres a wait for tables, but thats usually a good indicator that the place is good!

This very popular brunch location offers a beautiful view of the harbor and of Mount Rainier if you are lucky enough to dine here on a clear day. The food is delicous, with a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. Seating is very limited so get there early if its the weekend.

Great location and friendly staff but Im not quite sure why this place is so popular. I got the salmon eggs Benedict and it was really good. My husband got the two eggs your way and it was sad. My friend got a sandwich and it was meh. The restaurant is not very nice looking either.

I chose to go here because they serve breakfast later in the afternoon. My omelette was good with thick pepper bacon and ham. My potatoes on the side were alright. The chipotle sauce on top was very good. The staff was very friendly and the view of the harbor is beautiful.

This has become our staple brunch spot. It took me awhile to go here because of the lousy name, but the food is soooo good. The spicy eggs Benedict, the burrito, and the omelet are as good as it gets. Dont let the name bother you. The food is great and the view is great too.

I went there with my sister and met an old school mate they let us stay there for an hour after they closed and the food was great. My sister is gluten free and she was so happy with being able to eat there. The prices were so reasonable. Had a mocha I could die for also.

Where to start the service was beyond bad, and the cleanliness was poor we had to not look at the spilled milk that was turning to cottage cheese on the carpet. The food was tasty however, the service and lack of cleanliness, marked this as a no return for us. :(

Been to devoted kiss cafe many times and have had great experiences always. When I came in and was greeted by Annette she made my fiancé and I feel like an inconvience rather than a customer coming to spend money. Wasnt pleased.

Food is amazing. Not a lot of space so we rarely go because we might not get seated and they dont take reservations. I wish they would move to a more accommodating location with more tables because the food is really good.
