I took my sister out for breakfast here on Christmas Eve and it was one of the worst dining experiences that Ive ever had. The table wasnt clean when we were seated, the condiments werent filled and available, and the table "cloth" (paper with glass over it) was EXTREMELY distracting with all of the ads printed on it. The service was fair; the waitress came by once or twice to check on us, and we did have a busboy come by offering us a refill on coffee. The food was terrible in the most extreme sense of the word; even as Im typing this review, my sister and I are terribly sick to our stomachs from the Manhattan Pancakes (I think they used old, expired sour cream). The food was cold, the bacon was WAY over-cooked, and the water for the tea that I ordered was bath-warm. Overall, it was just a sad experience and one of the worst $20 Ive ever spent. I do not suggest going to this diner. I wish I would have been able to leave a good review, but that simply was not the case today.

RUN AWAY. The service was extremely poor. Our order was in for 30 minutes, so we asked what the status was. We were told that there were a lot of to go orders in, that they were behind. To go orders are their top priority. When our server finally came back to let us know how long it would be they hadnt even started out order and there was an order ahead of us. We ended up leaving. Now you might say well what if the food is good. Its okay. This was the second weve visited this place. That first time we ordered two steak and eggs medium rare, eggs over easy and hash browns extra extra crispy. I kid you not my steak was extremely dry and over cooked. My wifes was bloody. My egg yolks were cooked all the way through and my hash browns were mush.

Was in the area . havent been here in over a year . They have really good pancakes. This time I called in an order a short stack of regular buttermilk pancakes . The pancakes are the fluffiest pancakes ever. You get 3 in the short stack and I couldnt finish them they are a very generous size. Since I had this to go they give you 3 containers of maple syrup and 1 of butter. I only used 1 since I like to tatse the actual pancake and not too much syrup. The pancakes were good as always this is definitely on the top of the list for pancakes. I did feel bad that I didnt tip since the pancakes were so good.

Ewwww! I had high hopes for this place but NOPE. i got a normal breakfast with eggs hashbrowns bacon and biscuits n gravy. Bacon had freezer burn, biscuit and gravy tasted like a bland microwaved mess, EVEN the hashbrowns were gross!! How do u mess up hashbrowns?!? Servers were super friendly and i regret not trying the pancakes but the food was definitely lacking flavor and quality...not sure how this place keeps busy....maybe people dont really slow down enough to actually TASTE what theyre eating they just gobble it down and say hmmmm salty, sweet yumm! Im full! Smh. No no no.

As you walk in the door the first thing you notice is an odor. We sat at the booth by the bathrooms and discovered very quickly that the odor was coming from in there. It didnt smell like sewer but the sewer smell covered up by a deodorizer. We got a cup of coffee and it tasted old or burnt. I ordered a short stack and it was okay. My husband ordered an omelette and while chewing it discovered several pieces of egg shell inside. This is our first experience after many great reviews from family. Not sure if we will go back at a later date. So sorry :(.

Why does this place not have more seating yet? Its been the same size since I was a child. The wait is ridiculous and needs to be addressed with more seating and a larger location (plenty of wasted space in the parking lot to expand to). I cant tell you how many times Ive passed this place up due to the wait. Betty Fayes is within a close proximity and rarely has a wait, Id rather drive there to have no wait for comparable food. Thats my only gripe, because theres no reason it shouldnt be larger...Clearly the clientele is there.

Good food, portions are a good size especially for the price. If youre planning to come during traditional breakfast hours (which is served all day) be prepared to wait. Place is always packed for breakfast. We usually come after 12 during the week and theres hardly anyone, perfect time to go. Food is always on spot. I usually get the western omelette (cheese, onion, bacon and bell peppers) which comes with pancakes or toast and hash browns for about 10$. True jewel in Corona.

Love! Ive been here MANY times with my bf and it has NEVER disappointed. I dont know why the bad reviews because its never let us down and weve even brought family and friends, and they love it too! Anyhoo, portions are wonderful for the price and the food and service are immaculate. Keep doing what youre doing Silver Dollar and I will be a loyal customer :)

Excellent and polite service. Food was great at a reasonable cost. Try the " Taco Salad " OMG, it was bomb. I havent ate here since about 15 years ago, but it was still the same with great service/food. If your in a hurry, plan to wait a little, but you dont want anyone rushing when preparing your food. Think about it, its well worth the slight wait.

Horrible Service! 3 people came in after us and were served before us. Also... Menu prices on here only go Monday-Friday for the specials listed. Felt ignored after being told 4 times she would be right with us and she was helping 1 person that was there before us and the other 3 that were seated after us. I will NOT be returning!!!!!!!!!!

My car repair shop is next to this place. Iwhile I was waiting for my car to be worked on. I decided to go here to get something to eat. The food was so good. The place is small but it was a good vibe. It speed like every one who worked there was very respectful. The came around to refilled my coffee alot of times. I will be back for sure.

Busy mom and pops diner that has tasty food and reasonable prices. If you are a local its where you run into other locals and if you dont know anyone you will when you leave because youre seated closely. Be prepared to wait because there can be a line to get in. Good food and friendly service was my experience.

Really great noodles in pork soy sauce. They give you a large portion and these are really fresh. A clear standout in Philly Corona, CA and a good choice for a stop near Reading Terminal Market. You could even bring the noodles over to the tables in the market if you want the real Philly experience.

Located just east of the ( am-pm) Grand ave on the south side of Sixth street. Plenty of parking, quick service and a 5am open make this a great meeting place for groups going to the river, the mountains or the lake for the day. Good food, simple traditional café. Takes you back to times past.
