My girlfriend loves their enchilada trio, so I end up getting a burrito from here once in a while.... Being from the bay area I am somewhat accustomed to fine mexican food (Im considered a rather good chef in my own right BTW) and therefore I hold a fairly high standard in terms of critical analysis of the dishes I sample anywhere... That being said I must say I have been disappointed multiple times now by the bland, tough "carne asada" which they serve. I gave them several opportunities, they have not delivered. Im not even Latino but I can make killer carne asada. If your anywhere near Hopland, try that truck tucked in as you turn to the casino- that is the best Ive had anywhere near Cloverdale. La Hacienda is probably your best bet if you want to stay in Cloverdale.

I did not eat here but walked by on a nice afternoon and the outside seating area visible from the sidewalk seemed very inviting. They have a fountain and some spanish themed decor. There is also an outdoor grill, although it was not in use when I walked by. It seems like this would be a nice place to go on a warm summer evening.

With Mexican food as good as this, it’s not surprising to learn that this used to be Mexican soil. The chicken fajita was fabuloso, the burrito was bonito, the children’s menu enchilada was exquisito, and the lemonade was… lovely. We were super full of delicious food by the end of lunch and didn’t eat until the next day.

Fist time having lunch at this establishment, and let me tell you that it was a great one. Greeted with a smile. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Promptly served. Great recommendation of a very delicious plate. Very happy with service and food. Great food at great prices! .Two thumbs up!

Service was so so. Audience was lackluster, and they did not have a wide selection of whiskey. Food was subpar and they could not even be certain if there are options for gluten free or not. Definitely not impressive for Mexican food in California.

Ive stopped at this place the last few times Ive gone through Cloverdale. The interior is very interesting and cozy. The food has always been nothing special -- just good ol Mexican -- but always very tasty. The staff is very friendly.
