****Know what you are booking prior to booking this!!! Not at all what the website makes it seem, false advertising*** My husband and I booked two nights stay at nakoma for our 6th wedding anniversary. The website makes it seem so beautiful, and relaxing. The website false advertises the amenities. Any of the pictures you see are computer generated of what the new "altitude recreation" will look like. Which is "projected" to be done in august and I would ask prior to booking because it doesnt seem to be close to being done. The golf course was pretty and the hotel was nice, but we booked this stay thinking it was going to be a one stop shop for our entertaining needs. The gym is small, not big enough for more then 1 maybe 2 people to work out in. The hotel had NO ONE WORKING FOR 6PM TO 7AM, we had no one to ask any question, get extra towels, nothing. Front desk seemed very overwhelmed and stressed out at check in. The "continental breakfast" was the worse I have ever had. They had oatmeal to eat that required a microwave to cook that they didnt provide. I was suppose to get a massage while my husband golfed the next morning which I canceled because I felt uncomfortable after seeing where it was located. We ended up cutting our trip down to only one night and spending over 400 dollars. They provide you with two bottles of water in the fridge of your room but after that you are on your own, there is no place to buy anything to drink in the hotel or club house other then at the bar. Oh and the "vending" machine is a fridge that has a few snacks and wine with a sign at the top that says to see the front desk to buy, which is hard when no one is working for most of your stay. Bottom line, nice golf course and room but know what you are getting into before booking. I wish we would of known.

Nice, clean resort. Food not very good. The one who is responsible for the loss of a star is Samantha who called herself "the manager"of the restaurant. She stood across the table and belittled my friend loudly when he tried to set our table. We had been "forgotten" by the hostess even though we checked in for our reservation and seated at a dirty table. My friend was trying to be kind and helpful and didnt deserve to be shamed. Samantha could have come up, apologized and simply taken over setting the table but instead she chose to verbally spar with me as I asked her to stop demeaning my friend. I requested she leave the table and get her manager and thats when she referred to herself as "The Manager"---I doubt it to this day because no one in the service industry in any type of executive position would have acted in such an unprofessional manner over something so simple. My favorite part was when she yelled him to stop because it was a fire hazard. Unbelievable. Needless to say, we wont be back.

Un resort sublime, moderne et plein de charme, situé en plein milieu de la forêt. Les chambres sont modernes, très spacieuses, parfaitement insonorisées, propres et très confortables. Mon seul regret est de ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Le dîner était bon et copieux, sans pour autant être très cher. En entrée, le croustillant au brie accompagné de pommes était original et en plat, le poisson du jour avec sa sauce sucrée/salée était savoureux. Le service est remarquable!

This place was AWESOME! The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. We live in Oroville Ca so the drive wasnt too far to get here as well a beautiful drive along the way! Our room was very nice and clean. The food was great but over all I can not say enough "Awesome" things about the staff here and how friendly everyone was! My husband an myself could not have had a better weekend! We definitely will be returning an cant wait to see the new addition they are in the process of building! Hope to get back here real soon for another great weekend! So Thanks Nakoma Resort for providing us with a wonderful experience!

Went here for a friends wedding. The place had absolutely gorgeous scenic views! Everything looked very nice and was one of the most fun wedding venues Ive been too! Would recommend anyone get married here if they can afford it (Im sure it was very expensive) and would have gotten married here as well if we could. It is of course primarily a golf resort and seems like an amazing and beautiful place to play golf.

Crews of firefighters putting out lightning fires here got their rooms taken after reserving them for the week. People working 16-24 hour shifts now have to go through the trouble of finding a last minute hotel... not even an apology from the manager. Dont give these scumbags your business.

Beautiful golf course and neighborhood. Convenient location to Lakes Basin and other great trails. Your own quiet piece of hikers paradise. The clubhouse has a great dinner selection and is quite tasty! Deer and animals abound. Recommend to those who love golfing and nature.

I went for a friends wedding. The view was great and the food was delicious. The issue that I had was that they had 3 different areas for the event. It would have been nice to be able to dance by the bar or the food area. Everyone was friendly and we had a good time.

I recently DJd a wedding in the wigwam at Nakoma... The staff was great! The food was great! And the view was amazing!!!!! Was a great venue for a wedding! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a Tahoe mountain venue!

Yearly trip to the lodge for the dragon, stayed at the lodge and a round of golf. Fantastic all the way around. Staff at both locations are amazing and accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone and Ill be back next year!

Nakoma Good of Resort has some of the most helpful and friendliest people I have encountered. Their staff is very professional and the maintenance does an excellent job on keeping up with maintaining the green for golfing

The Nakoma has one of the most scenic golf courses I have ever played. The course was in great condition, and the score cards even featured expert tips for each hole. I will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed a tasty brunch and drinks in the beautiful dining area. The property is stunning with amazing views everywhere you look. The golf course looks quite impressive as well. We will be back.

The golf course was a complete surprise, exceeded my initial assumption, absolutely perfect, level tee boxs, tee to green pristine. You would think you were playing on a Nicholas course.

Amazing. The rooms are quite spacious and clean and the surroundings are amazing. Breakfast was quite poor however.
