Ordered a "house speciality" shrimp w/walnuts, the shrimp was a frozen bagged variety fried until rubbery, white sauce included no walnuts and sauce was close to mayonnaise in flavor. I tired to get a corrected order. 1st guy says will give you some walnuts next time you come in and hangs up. 2nd woman says people dont like the walnuts so they dont included them. Explained to her this is the first time Ive ordered from them and Id like to judge them on a complete dish so asked again if I could bring it back she said no theyre closing, its 8:30pm. I also ordered the crab wontons deep fried, obviously a frozen bagged variety pretty tasteless. Dont bother with this place. Its not even something you should feed the dog. I tired calling a 3rd time no answer so the hours listed are incorrect as well.

Met a friend for lunch at the Pearl House for the first time. My friend made the call because he had eaten there before. We were a little ahead of the lunch crowd so no problem finding a good seat. I ordered the Generals chicken, as always and my partner ordered the same as he had never tried the dish before. The hot and spicey soup was very good and our food arrived before I could finish, I talk alot. This was one of the best GC I have ever had and the portions were almost too much, almost. the place was very clean and the service was very good. I will be back.

So to be honest the food is great. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because my food had cold parts including my soup. I also ordered a #1 on the lunch menu and received a #4. I dont send food back once I receive it when it is my first visit. So I kept it. It was still pretty good though

Absolute favorite restaurant of all time, I am a regular there and have been going here for as long as i can remember. The owners know my dad and I on sight and by name and its always great to walk in and see how great the place is doing and how awesome their food is.

Picked up some chicken chow mien last night, 1st time trying this place. Have to say I wasnt impressed at all. Had a Really funky taste and the chicken was really fatty. I had to put a few boxes if baking soda in the fridge to try and rid the smell.

I have been coming to pearl house for over 10 years. Everytime I come, Im not disappointed. The food is great, the serving sizes are more than enough and the prices are amazing! I highly recommend for quality Chinese food! They even offer catering!

This place is the most wonderful hidden gem of Citrus Heights. The food here is so tasty, and very plentiful. On top of that service is so friendly and always attentive. Their lunch specials are our favorite with lots of food and a great price.
