If you understand quality and have any idea of Food Cost then this place is unbelievable . The quality, quantity , decor and service for the price is unheard . If you are one of those who want all Chinese restaurant food to taste like Chinatown in NY or SF then its not for you . The food has to appeal to all kinds of people and this is what Shanghai Garden does. As a senior Chef myself i recommend this place for Chinese food and am still wondering how can they manage to serve it so cheap.

I order food from here on several occasions and the food been awesome. No complaints on this night 8/4/17 I order $40.00 worth of food and the breaded shrimp was over cooked, , the shrimp fried rice n house fried rice was over cooked called too tell them bout it they was rude and in consideration with me. Several occasions spent $60-$75 on food. Customer service was very rude will never ever buy food from them again...

i thought it was a grreat, amazing place with amazing food as well. the hunan and mandarin cooking exquisite, until i went there yesterday and there was a fried cockroach in our food! disgusting....im so glad i saw it....then the waiter proceeds to tell me that "sometimes they have cockroaches in the kitchen, im sorry" and only takes ten dollars off the meal. last time i go there

I was trying to find a good Chinese place to take some friends that were visiting and I decided to go to this one. I am very glad I did. The staff was very nice and we always had water and our food was finished very quickly. I am definitely going to go here often. Try the orange chicken its amazing, I dont normally even like it that much. The potstickers were great too.

If you drive too fast you will miss this small treasure in a little corner shopping mall. I am from San Francisco and know how good Chinese food is supposed to taste. This wonderful restaurant not only has great food but the service and the prices are as good as the food. You must try Shang Hai Garden!

been going here all my life, and my parents have gone ever since the day it opened. tge spring rolls are very nice, as well as the crab meat/cream cheese wontons. the hot and sour soup is extraordinarily good, but my favorite entrées are the cashew chicken and the ginger beef

Ive tried most of the Chinese within a five mile radius of East Sac and this place is by far the best in my opinion. Ive tried at least a dozen different menu items and every single one of them has been excellent! The food quality and flavor is consistently outstanding.

Very good food at reasonable prices. The set meals are the ticket item. Dine in and save on multi course meals with great soup and traditional fried dishes. Not the best general or kung pao chicken here, but all the breaded dishes are excellent. Great chow main as well

They deliver in those Chinese boxes which is nice because nobody else I have tried does. The food is pretty good the decor is nice and cozy. Nothing is burned over or under cooked and they are fast. Its my new to go place for Chinese

Been ordering here from a long time. Just had them the other day and the quality is not worth the money. Chicken dry, rice tastes old and dry, and wonton stuffing barely there. They lost this long time customer. Just get pizza!

Great value on food. Great location. Excellent staff who genuinely want to help/serve you. Food is constantly the same so you wont have a bad experience one day vs another. Food flavor and quality isnt top notch but is good.
