I go to this restaurant for lunch every month or so with a group of about ten people. I dont even like Chinese food, but this place is pretty good. The waitresses are incredible! This is the only place on this planet that I can sit down and order "the usual" and actually get the right stuff! There are a few in our group that have food allergies and need to be careful about what they get. The staff is very accommodating in this regard and one time one of the waiters remembered one of the group had an allergy. When he ordered the wrong thing he reminded him, "Dont order that. Its got nuts in it." Any waiter that handles our group of ten to twelve picky, boisterous patrons and smiles the entire time deserves high praise. Our waiters today was named "Sam." He earned high praises today! I had never enjoyed Chinese food until I ate here. I recommend the Pepper Salted SpareRibs

Very Good. They recently added a Sushi bar, which seems strange at first. I know I felt strange eating sushi in a place decorated with Chinese Buddhas, Tigers and Dragons, but I was totally surprised that the sushi was excellent. They have a spicy Sashimi appetizer that they havent officially named yet, tentatively called Japanese Nachos, that was heaven. Its a poke-like mix of spicy tuna, salmon, and yellow-tail, mixed with cucumber and cilantro, served Hors doeuvre style on crispy won-ton. I suggested they call it Hawaiian Nachos, since it reminded me of some of the spicier poke dishes I had on the island. From the Chinese menu I really enjoyed the Chow Mein, which had just the right ratio of noodle to veggies and meat, the meat was seasoned gently with a hint of ginger (and perhaps Hoissin?) and was soft and tender. I highly recommend it!

My lunch combo was never prepared or sent to the table with the other food and I waited over 20 min to find out they never made it. Proceeded to hear yelling between employees all the way into the dining area. When I approached the manager about my experience she interrupted me 2 sentences in and began arguing with me and yelling loudly. She was mad because I cancelled my order...the leftovers from the other persons meal was already packed to go. No reason for my meal to have never been prepares or served within the hour we were at the establishment. SANDI the freckled faced..very rude and unhappy manager has to be the most unproffesional and unhappy human I have met. After 20 years of excusing occasional mistakes and hair in our food...I am DONE giving me this place a chance and will never go back for their overpriced mediocre food.

I am not going to lie I have bypassed this place so many times because it appeared to be a hole in the wall and the prices I saw seemed so low I didnt expect quality or quantity. I stand very much corrected I tried them today cause my regular spot for sushi is closed and I will MOST CERTAINLY return I did my order to go and upon picking up my bags I was surprised at how heavy they were when I got home these rolls are huge and the price I paid doesnt even begin to cover what I feel I got flavor is wonderful size is fantastic I am actually very very impressed by this location definitely recommending it and you gotta try the lion king it is phenomenal props to the people running it. thank you for such a great experience

A real gem. Complete authentic Chinese interior including the ceiling! The atmosphere is quiet and dark, not too dark, but dark like an expensive restaurant. The service is very attentive and friendly. The menu is good sized and the food is very tasty and plenty of it. Weve been coming here for years and were never disappointed. We bring the family for birthdays and the kids have grown up loving the New China Restaurant.

Had a really great experience from this place. The food is fresh and always hot to perfection. My favorite dish is the pepper salted beef with 2 dollar extra jalapenos. Incredible staff and the manager even let me go inside the kitchen during business hours to see how clean it is. 5 stars to the food and staff!

Me and my family are very PICKY chinese food eaters. But New China satifises every one of us. We love to eat in and out. Its so good. My daughter just came home from college for winter break and what does she want for dinner? Her favorite, HONG KONG for two, tonight its just us girls.

Food was good, while looking at the menu we got asked by four different people if were ready to order, tip: if the menu is open dont harass the customer. Also to the tall white lady server, your loud conversations about your ghetto neighbors and your language is disruptive

I know Asian food having lived in Korea and traveled the region for 12 + years. The food here is terrible. This is the worst attempt of Chinese cooking I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Will not go back nor will I recommend anyone else too.

Very disappointed! Egg roll was literally awful, and the egg drop soup that I was so looking forward to was a glutenous mess, with a couple of frozen peas. Main dish wasnt too bad, but still disappointing. Just no flavor. Will not go back.

ordered chicken fried rice and a mingolian beef plate to go and whatever was in my fried rice was not chicken slippery gooey tofu like substance with no texture, just threw 15$ away.. Probly wont be going back here...

Who would ever think the best sushi in Manteca is at a Chinese restaurant? Well, it is. Chinese food is also good, both dine in and take out and the prices are reasonable. They have a full bar!

We love it here! Always friendly service, the mix of Chinese and Japanese in one spot is perfect. We always get the hint walnut prawn roll. Its is ALWAYS delicious. Havent been let down yet.
