The ambiance is nice - a fairly formal dining experience with trained wait staff. The menu is a combination of Thai and Vietnamese food, but takes out all the traditional names to replace them with more English friendly ones. This can be nice if you arent familiar with Vietnamese food, but odd if you are. The food is decent, on par with your average Thai or Vietnamese place. If you want to pay double to upgrade the building and service for the same food, go here. Otherwise, check out a Vietnamese place in Stockton boulevard (any of them) or Siam Thai, Taste of Thai, or Chada Thai.

I was at one time a big fan but the place really has taken a dump. It feels old, the menu is the same and there just isnt any energy (but not to say there must be). So many restaurants closed their doors in 2008-2009 but LG survived to their credit. But it looks as if they lost focus. The food after a while just tastes the same and the décor has really gotten old too.

I am a critic, of all things, and for food, this has got to be one of the best! You cant go wrong here, and of the dishes will satisfy your biggest hunger and cravings. The food is made by an amazing chef, and served by friendly waiters. Very warm and tasty, and before the plate even reaches the table, the aroma just makes me salivate (please, excuse me). =)

Excellent taste and fesh. Only problem is a fairly typical one-they dont "add MSG" but for sure it is in some of their foods. Maybe they use one of the other flavor enhances that brings it out (sodium inosinate or guanylate) or start with sauces that have it. I had a bad reaction to the chicken pho despite loving the flavor. Never would have suspected it...

Was rated best Vietnamese on Local Eats. Total disappointment. Not true Vietnamese at all. I was the only Asian in the place. Ordered the Mom catfish and it was ok and nothing special. The side of veggies is steamed so its bland. Food is taylored or changed for the Caucasian crowd, not true authentic Vietnamese at all. Not recommend it.

Super concept, perfect for a casual weekend meal with my wife or for delicious takeout to bring home for family dinners. I see that a lot of people have differing opinions on the quality, price and taste. I agree that its a little pricey but I think that the freshness and taste are pretty top notch.

I imagine this place to be very tasty. Getting somewhere 10 minutes before close and finding the kitchen closed makes giving an accurate review. The staff was very friendly as we sat down just to decide to go elsewhere. Thank you lemongrass for that very enjoyable Ten minutes.

Frankly I dont understand what the big deal is with Lemon Grass restaurant. We had an overpriced bland lunch there last week and dont plan on returning. It takes more than a celebrity chef and a cookbook to make an excellent restaurant.

The cowboy steak, green curry salmon special when available, the catfish and the crispy spring rolls are my favorites! Best served with a dirty martini, and finished with the dessert Siagon by Night (forgive the misspelled names).
