This place USED to be great. About 11 months ago, most of the staff changed and the service and food took a nose dive. We USED to be greeted immediately upon entering, quickly seated, introduced to our waitress within five minutes of sitting down, and had our food ordered and out to us quickly. NOW, we dont get greeted and are left to stand there staring at whoever is standing up at the cash register while they ignore us to finish whatever the hell theyre doing. We have to go find a waitress and remind her that weve been seated and would like to be served. And when we FINALLY get our food, its frequently wrong. The wait staff then argues with us until they finally take it back to be corrected, only to bring it back two minutes later with a half assed "correction." We miss this place being good and after giving it a second chance after a couple of bad experiences and having it just be worse, were done.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the Citrus Heights area. Service is fairly quick, and the staff is always friendly. I love the pan handle scramble. Plenty of food to share if you get a full waffle and split it in half. Strawberries on doesnt hurt either. Ive signed up to get emails from them which allows you to get anywhere from 5-20% (depending on which day of the week you go) off of your bill which is awesomeness! They only get 4 stars from me because the food is something anyone can easily whip up in their own kitchen. Its not bad, just doesnt have that "wow" factor.

I live down the street and pass this resturant everyday. Im always wondering about their food. Im glad I came because now I know to never come here again. My grievances are more about personal taste. I ordered a Ranchers skillet. It came on a plate. I expected a skillet but again personal taste. The eggs were flavorless but a little salt and pepper fixed that. The bacon wasnt crispy but again personal taste. And the biscuit was really dry. No amount of butter or jam was helping. On the positive the wait staff were on their game and were really nice!

Our family loves Country Waffles! Its our "Cheers" because were eaters not drinkers. They have a good selection of food choices. The staff are amazing they have become friends over time. Im a diabetic so hash browns/country potatoes arent a good choice for me...so I get grilled vegetables no up charge. Frank, the owner is so cool. He willingly helps out local charitable projects. So many of us are regulars that weve become friends thru coming here. Its a place where everyone knows your name. Come join us you wont regret it.

I had lunch there today & had ordered the Big Joe BBQ hamburger with French fries. It was perfect. The hamburger was cooked perfectly and the fries had their skins still on them. This hamburger puts any from McDonalds to shame. Id order this hamburger any time. I can hardly wait until the next time I eat there.

Wow, really great breakfast. My first time here but am coming back from sure. There was a wait to get in but we got in fast. The service was just as fast but not hurried. And the food was really yummy and cooked well. Th cooks did a,really good job! Thank you!

This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. The staff is friendly and timely. Even when it is crowded, the wait usually isnt very long. Most importantly, the food is great. I am a huge fan of the pulled pork sandwhich.
