To start, the rolls were like they came out of a microwave. After a few minutes hard and rubbery. Prices are a bit high for the food portions. I had ribeye and chicken and wife had ribeye and coconut shrimp. Steaks were good but they were significantly different sizes, and nothing to get excited about! My chicken was wonderful and the wife enjoyed the shrimp. Steaks are on the over cooked side. Hers was to be medium well and mine was to be medium. Came out as: hers well, and mine med well. Sides were OK. I had broccoli cheddar soup and garlic potatoes. Weird soup in my opinion. First spoonful tasted like peanut butter. Combination of flavors seemed off. Wife tried it and agreed, it did taste like peanut butter! Her corn and baked potato were spot on! Our server was wonderful and did her best to correct issues quickly. Checked in enough, trying not be annoying but, to make sure things were going good! Great service! But, we came to eat a nice dinner, not for the great service! We have tried all the local steak places and this one pales in comparison! We have gone here a few times since opening. Havent ever had our taste buds blown away! Good but, definitely not great! Our ratings for top 3 in the area are: #1 Texas Road House Prices match quality, portions, and flavor. #2. Black Angus Specials are affordable. Expensive without. Quality is hit and miss. We decided to try this place for dinner tonight, and we pretty happy with our visit minus a couple things which is why i only gave it 3 stars. Both of our dinners and side dishes tasted great. I had the chicken fried chicken dinner which was huge lol Im a big guy and half of it would have been enough. My wife had the prime rib which was a perfect medium cook and perfectly juicy and tender. However our appetizer which was a seared ahi tuna was really not that good, now i know we went to a steakhouse but if they are gonna put it on the menu it should be good. The other thing that knocked them down a star was the ants crawling along the wall and on to our table which we didnt notice until we were boxing up our food to go. The service was great and the wait time to get a table at 7:15pm on a Friday night was only a few minutes. Hopefully they work out the ant issue, we will try them again and hope for the best.

We usually go there after I close my business every Friday night the hostess was on the phone when we walked in talking to a personal friend making us wait quite a while usually enjoy our meals but they got a new chef steak was over cooked well done they lost our menu so we had to wait for our food clam chowder wasnt hot it was warm orders came at the same time as the meal hors doeuvre mushrooms wasnt sizzling at the table very disappointed waitress wasnt so attentive I think the staff needs to be retrained management needs to train them much better.

This is my home restaurant for grabbing a bite and/ or drink solo. Im very comfortable seating myself in a booth in the bar section, grabbing a menu and making myself comfortable. Their nachos are huge and amazing! So is the calamari. So are the burgers and happy hour. You can get a huge 25 oz mug of beer under $6, which I think is a great price. I dont usually go for the steaks or formal dining. Its my comfy bar spot. It has a welcoming environment and I feel comfortable ordering and zoning out on my phone.

Reading the other reviews, maybe we should have eaten in the bar. Happy hour doesnt extend to drinks in the dining room, which is poorly lit (but has a bare incandescent bulb over the table), music is a radio station (doesnt match the romantic dark lighting) and French fries come heavily pre-salted (not recommended for high blood pressure). The food (I had 1/2 rack baby back ribs) was tasty but not worth the $. I can see why the dining room was nearly empty at 7 pm on a Thursday.

Went here on my one year anniversary big mistake. The waitress rarely came by and was oblivious to everything. I asked for a medium rare steak the first one was well done the second one was straight rare. The cocktail they have me was horrible and the calamari made my gf sick. They charged me for everything but the calamari when I didnt take a drink of the cocktail and sent it back along with the steak. The place was empty should have told me something. Avoid this place.

5 stars for the food. Service on the other hand needs some work. Server was great food was great but there is an issue in the kitchen not all food came out at once nor did a full plate come out at once. They did make it right and my meal was free and in fairness we had a party of 18. Will go back and try again just my wife and I. If service remains the same rating will be adjusted. One more time though the food was really good

We had a delightful lunch! We shared the full rack of ribs. The sauce was wonderful. The meat fell off the bone cooked to perfection. We had a salad that had their home made Orange Vinaigrette that was so amazing. I was scraping the bowl with my fries so savor the last drop. Great service and friendly!! A treasure that is obviously not yet known as it was not super busy as you would expect with food that good.

The food is amazing! The waiters and waitresses are always attentive and check back regularly to make sure our table is doing okay. The shrimp cocktail is my personal favorite but my husbands familys favorite is the Jack Daniels shrimp! The owner is ALWAYS around to make sure everyone is having a great time! Anything you need from a private party to dinner or just a couple drinks this is the place to go!!!

I was served moldy bread and then when they brought my food, they forgot my shrimp...i loved my steak and twice baked potato but when I was finally served my coconut shrimp, it was raw! Manager didnt care to apologize about the food, but still appreciated the waitress.

Other than our waitress (bless her heart) got a little off with our drink orders, our party of four LOVED our food. Much improved from the last time we visited Cattle Rustle RSVL. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. We will be returning.

Always friendly, always great food! Ranch steak, ranch chicken, and ribs are very popular with our large group, nobody ever leaves disappointed! The wait staff here is amazing!
