i hadnt been here in quite a while, and i honestly liked the old menu from like 10 years ago much better. they used to have this great NY steak sandwich they only did for lunch, but that was my favorite item. the menu now is kinda meh. i mean, the pot roast is decent, and there are other things like chicken pot pie that are cool, but a lot of it is just not that exciting. i had a chinese chicken salad last time. i honestly coulda gotten a lot better salad a lot of other places. on the upside, there is a nice patio and you can watch TV/sports on one of the patios, and there are lots of other things around in the commons. but honestly i might just walk across to the italian place next time. toscanova, i think its called.

Delicious soups, great value and friendly service! I work close by and finally went to Soup Spot after my coworkers had talked it up for so long. Definitely lives up to the hype! Fresh made soups that rotate daily - check their Facebook page for todays menu. $5-6 for just soup and $8-$9 for soup, sandwich combo. And every order comes with bread and an apple. Great deal! They also let you sample soups and if you buy 10, your 11th order is free. The guys in there work fast and they are super friendly, always cracking jokes. It makes a big difference. Will definitely continue going!

My son and I went there for Mothers Day today. The service was very good and the food was even better. I had multi grain almond granola pancakes with sliced bananas. My son had an egg dish with fresh fruit and raisin cinnamon toast. Ive been to The Westlake comments location before and the Sherman Oaks location. Both are excellent restaurants. Our server even brought me sugar free low calorie maple syrup to pour on my pancakes.

My friend and I just wanted to grab some dessert and coffee at this place. The bread pudding was just ok. I would have rated it a 2 star because of the disappointing dessert but it would be unfair since I havent tried their main entrees. Great ambience and very attentive staff which is why I gave this place that 3rd star. When I visit this cafe again, I will write another review and assign an appropriate star rating.

Please either butter the toast with breakfast before you serve it or put butter and maybe even jam on the table when you serve it. Every time I have to ask for butter and it is always ice cold and by the time I get it my toast is cold by then too. Not tasty and I destroy the cold toast trying to butter it with ice cold butter. Not many people want dry toast with nothing to put on it with their breakfast.

Probably THE best restaurant servers in Calabasas. The servers go above & beyond what you would expect & the food is as always delicious. Pastas are great, and cocktails also. My server was awesome, I forgot her name sorry. I ate dinner here with my long time friend and it was a great night with the perfect ambiance. I work at Hilton Garden Inn Calabasas and always recommend this place as well as the Toscanova. Thank you!

This wasnt our worse dinning experience, but one of them. Restaurant smelled really bad, like sewage spill, and although it was Saturday night they were not busy at all to keep us waiting for half an hour to find out that we are sitting there. But honestly food quality was acceptable

What once was a nice franchise is turning more into something that reminds me of Panini Cafe. The seating at this location isnt as great as the one in West Hollywood. The service is ok but the food isnt that great.
